Chapter 12: Vigilante Zenitsu Agatsuma

Kaminari spent the whole night killing demons. All of the demons he killed were low-ranked so he didn't have a problem with killing any of them. He came back to the agency at dawn, he changed out of his costume before he walked back to Endeavor's agency. When he walked in, he was greeted by Burnin, who had a lot of questions about why he was out at night.

"What were you doing out at night?" Burnin asked Kaminari.

"Patroling. There was a... new development so Endeavor is having me patrol at night by myself from now on."

"So are you going to sleep the rest of the day or?"

"Not the entire day, just enough to where I feel good enough to move around," Kaminari said.

"Hey, kid!" Endeavor called out to Kaminari.

"Yes sir?" 

"I informed the Public Safety Commission about what happened last night. They said they'll cover for you at UA."

"Thank you Endeavor. How is Natsuo?" Kaminari asked.

"He's stable, but he hasn't woken up yet due to blood loss," Endeavor said.

"I'm sorry, if only I sensed him sooner-" Kaminari started.

"Don't, you did well, if it wasn't for you Natsuo would've been dead. So thank you," Endeavor said.

Kaminari smiled. "Your welcome. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to sleep. I'm tired." Kaminari walked off to his room, on his way he ran into the others. "Oh, hey guys! I hope you can deal with not having me today!" Kaminari called out to him.

"We'll be fine Dunce Face! We can take care of them without your help!" Bakugou said.

"How was your first patrol for demons?" Midoriya asked.

"It was easy, all the demons were low-ranked so they weren't hard to deal with. But the amount that I ran into here in this city alone is crazy!" Kaminari exclaimed. "I can't imagine what it's like in other cities, how many more demons there are." Kaminari sighed. "Oh well, I can do it, I just need to sleep now."

"Then go right ahead, my dad said you can sleep as much as you want during the day," Todoroki told Kaminari.

"I know, I'll be going now, have a good time with Endeavor!" Kaminari told them as he walked towards his room. As soon as Kaminari changed and got into bed, he immediately fell asleep. 

Kaminari woke up to the same dark room where Zenitsu talks to him when he sleeps. He turns over to Zenitsu. "Really? I need to sleep you know!"

"I know but, I want to make sure you're okay. This is all moving really fast and you're probably not going to get a good night's rest for a long time. Are you okay with this?" Zenitsu asked, sounding concerned and worried for Kaminari. Kaminari isn't at the level of a Hashira, yet he's still being given the responsibilities they had back in the Taisho period, but instead of one large region, he has the whole country.

"I'll be fine, this was bound to happen anyway, so I can't just say no. I can do this! I just need some time to adjust to a new schedule."

Zenitsu sighed, there was no way to get him to speak about what he was really feeling. "Fine, now go to sleep, you still need to train and you have patrol."

"And this time, I'm going to different cities."

"That's very draining, you know that?"

"I know, but I don't exactly have a choice," Kaminari said.

Zenitsu sighed again. "Just go to sleep."

With that Kaminari disappeared from the room, leaving Zenitsu by himself.
