"Thank you for making all of these, Saxton," masayang kong sabi at tinanaw ang view sa labas. The night view from here is breathtaking. I can see the city lights and the bright park with lots of people from here. The ride has become more energetic as lights have been wrapped around it.
"There's more, baby," he said with a sly grin. On cue, loud explosions broke the clear sky. "Wow," I gasped as I stood up to view the fireworks display on the window. The sky is now vibrantly colored as well. I watched as the dark sky turned into a rainbow of colors. Warm hands slid around my waist and I leaned against Saxton's chest to watch the show. My eyes widen as I feel the cold stuff against my skin as he moves my hair to one side. "Saxton..." I called out in surprise.
He hummed and nuzzled his face into the back of my neck. I slowly raised my hand to feel the necklace and stared at it in awe. It's a lovely rose gold necklace with a pink round cut diamond set in four claws.
My eyes began to well up with tears of joy. My heart is bursting at the seams right now. What did I do to deserve this man? He exerted all of his efforts on this particular day—no. Every day, he worked hard for me.
I tried to face him but he didn't let me. "Saxton, this is too much. I don't think I can accept it. Nahihiya ako... Ang dami mo ng ginawa sa akin ngayon samantala ako wala pa. You always give me everything I want while m—"
"The day you told me you loved me is the best gift I've ever received. No money and things can be matched to that, so don't tell me that you didn't give me something. I know loving me is hard and impossible... but you did and my greediness wants you to continue loving me even if it's hard," he paused, smelling my scent and taking deep breaths. "If you stop... loving me one day, remember that every day, every night, I am here loving you."

His palms clasped my hand, the one holding the necklace. "I've had this necklace with me since days after I met you. Dahan-dahan ako nito iniharap sa kanya and I didn't try to hide that I was in tears. His words have blossomed my heart so much. I'm at a loss for words. How did this man fall in love with me without me doing anything? Pinalibot ko ang braso ko sa bewang niya at sinubsob ang mukha. "Thank you. thank you, Saxton, for everything. I promise to love you every day and night, in the dark and in the light," I swear to him and he hummed.
He hugs me even tighter and places a gentle kiss on the top of my head as we remain on the Ferris wheel, the colors of firecrackers reflecting on our bodies, and allows the comfortable silence to lull us in each other's arms while slowly and gently swaying.
"Go to sleep, pretty baby." Saxton said while putting the seatbelt on me and reclining the seat so I could lay down.
"Comfortable?" he asked, and I nodded with my eyes closed. Today was fun, and it drained all my energy.
I felt Saxton kiss my forehead. "Pretty," he mumbled. The next thing I know, I'm home and being carried by him with one hand on my bum and the other on my head, gently patting it.
