"Ow! What was that for?!" Dallas shouts at me right after I almost knocked him out with a punch.
"What do you think, stupid? For beating up my date! What's wrong with you?" I said, shaking off the slight pain from my hand from punching his face.
I think the problem between me and Dallas is that were too similar. We're so similar, if we date, it'll only last 3 seconds. We're both tuff greasers and both live at Buck Merrils place. Buck is my cousin anyhow and he knows how my parents are back at home.
I met Dallas when Buck threw a party and we bumped into each other when we got out of our rooms at the same time. We ended up hooking up and he thought I would be all over him after that. I knew from the start he was another player. I can't really blame him, I am one myself.
"You shouldn't be fucking him! He's a Soc He's no good!" He yells. "So? Most of your broads were Socs too! Why is my guy any of your problem?" I reply.
He stammers and I grab his collar. "Don't fucking mess with whoever I fuck. I can get a fuck whenever and with whoever I want." I whispered to him, then let him go. He wipes the blood dripping from his nose.
"Now leave me the hell alone." I said. He then left and runs out of the party.
Buck walks up to me, pushing past the crowd of people dancing to the loud music.
"What did you do?" He asked.
"Somethings up with that boy. He just can't stop messing with my life!" I said, putting my palm on my forehead. The stress and surrounding was already stressing me out, so I had to light a cancer stick.
Buck sighs and shakes his head. "Jesus Y/n, isn't it obvious?"
"That he's a dick? Yeah." I scoff. "He's in love with you, damnit. He's keeps talkin' about you to me and the way he talks... Man, ain't never heard him talk about a gal that way before." He said. I look at him dead in the eyes, taking out the cigarette from my lips.
"You've got to be shitting me, right?" I said. Buck shook his head, "You should go find him." He said and walks back to the counter.
"Stupid dick." I said, throwing my cigarette to the grown as I ran out of Bucks to look for Dallas.

I was checking places where I thought he might be. He couldn't have gone that far. It was getting later and started to rain. I had to walk a bit faster so the rain wouldn't get to me. Eventually, I found him by the park under a tree with a cancer stick in his mouth.
"Dallas!" I shouted, out of breath. He saw me and starts to walk away with his hands in his jacket.
"Oh, come on Dal. I'm sorry I punched you. I'll fix you up. Just come back and we can talk, okay?" I said, chasing him from behind.
He stood silent and kept walking away from me. It started to rain a bit harder.
"C'mon, Dally. It's gonna rain and Bucks is a long walk from here." I pleaded with him. It still didn't work. I couldn't stop him.
I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, starting to get drenched from the rain.
"Buck told me everything. Is it true?" I asked. That finally made him stop. He didn't turn around immediately. Instead, he threw his cigarette to the ground, making a hissing noise as the lit cigarette hit the wet pavement.
He finally turned around and looked at me.
"What did he tell you?" He asks.
"That you're in love with me." I replied.
After a short pause, he walks slightly closer to me. There we were, standing in the rain, just a couple feet apart from each other.
"Are you in love with me, Dallas?" I ask.
He still didn't answer.
"Dallas Winston, answer the damn ques-" He cuts me off.
"Yes, I am in love with you, damnit!" He shouts which shocked me for a second.
"Hell, It drives me insane that I'm in love with you! You know? It hurts to hear you moaning and giggling with some Soc when I'm thinking about you next door!" He said. The rain poured a bit hard so he had to shout a little.
I was speechless, he doesn't normally say the word 'love'. I didn't know what to do or say. I kept stuttering, not knowing what to say.
"Dallas, I- I don't know-" I stammered. "But- but we can't- we can't-" He cuts me off with a passionate kiss.
We pull away. Our bodies and clothes were soaked from the rain.
"We can. I can." He says softly with his wet, cold hands on my cheek, looking passionately into my eyes. "I am in love with you, Y/n and I can change to make it work."
I held his cold hands and smiled.
"I guess you do have a soft spot huh?" I said, making him blush.
"But, are you sure it's a good idea for us to be together?" I ask.
"Well, do you feel the same way?" He asked.
"Well, now that you admitted your feelings, I started feeling the same way I guess. With the kiss and all..." I said as he smiles.
"I think we should get back to Bucks, it's starting to be a thunderstorm." Dallas shouts through the sound of the thunder. I nodded as we both ran back to Bucks.
