"That's it."

He punches him right on the nose, making him fall down and bleed.

Darry keeps beating him up.

Everyone was watching him beat up the guy that was bothering me. The entire school.

"You're not gonna stop him?" Said one of the girls, to me.

"Ehh I'm to lazy too. Oh well. I'm gonna go now. I'll see you guys next week!" I said as I left.

Everyone was so confused. Why did I just leave like that? Why didn't I stop the fight? Shouldn't I be controlling my boyfriend?

First off, I love drama. Fights, Verbal fights, debates all that stuff. Second, I don't control Darry or anyone unless very needed and when Darry starts a fight, it's no big deal for me unless he gets really hurt.

Don't get me wrong, I love my boyfriend but his business is his and mine is mine but sometimes it's his if he's over protective.

I was biking home and right when I stopped in front of my house, Darrys truck pulled over. He got out and I saw him with a black eye.

"Ouh, that looks really bad. Did you win?" I said. "Of course. Just a few cuts and bruises but Darrel Curtis will always be a winner and will always have Y/n Y/l/n." He said, grabbing my waist, making me smile.

"Well of course you do. Anyhow, I gotta get inside and change. I have a bunch of homework to finish so I won't have to stress about it again." I said, opening the gate to my house.

"Can I come over tonight?" He asks. "Oh I wish you could but, my sister's new boyfriend is having dinner tonight and this is his first time meeting me and my parents. Just come over tomorrow morning, I've got no plans tomorrow." I said.

"Alright, call me." He said walking away.

"Yes I will." I said, bluntly.

I open the door to see Janice's new boyfriend. I never knew his name.

"Umm are you Janice's sister?" He asked. "Yes. Oh, you must be her new boyfriend. What's your name?" I asked.

"Sodapop. I know, it's pretty uncommon." He said. "Please, I think uncommon names are very cool. I'm Y/n. Come on in!" I said, letting him inside.

"Janice your man is here!" I yelled upstairs.

"Our parents will be here soon, they're out from meeting some of their high school friends so you just wait here, have a seat. Janice'll be down in a minute." I said to him.

He sat down. "Umm Y/n. You're name sounds so familiar. Do I know you?" He asks. "Well, I'm not that popular here in town so I don't think so. Maybe my name is a common name." I said. He giggled. "May be, but I'm pretty sure I heard a Y/n around town." "Well that could possibly be me then. I don't seem to know anyone else named Y/n." I said

Dinner was set up and our parents were home.

As we ate and had a conversation, Sodapop brings up his family life.

"So Sodapop, you have any siblings?" My father asked.

"Oh yes I have 2, my older brother Darrel and my kid brother Ponyboy." He said. Darrel?

"Well hey, Y/n's boyfriend is named Darrel." Said my father. "Yeah, well there's many Darrel's around here." I said.

"Your boyfriend can't be Darrel Curtis, is it?" He said. My eyes widened. "Well yes it is." I said.

"Oh right! Your brother mentioned you once to us! That's where I heard your name!" He said. "Wow, Darrel only told me he had brothers, he never gave me a name." I said

"Well it's finally nice meeting you. He's quite crazy about you." He said.

"I'm not so surprised." I said as we laugh.

• THE NEXT DAY •

"Hello, my darling." Said Darry as I walk up to him.

"Hey." I said, giving him a kiss.

"How was dinner last night?" He asked. "Darry. Your brother, Sodapop showed up as my sister's boyfriend." I said.

"Oh it's your sister Janice! I've been wondering that all night! Well our younger siblings are dating, and we're dating..." He said.

"Yeah..." I said.

Then a small silence.

"I don't like them together." I said.

"Yeah, I think we should break them up." He replied.
