"Could you just shut up for a while?"

I jumped as Darry yelled at me.

"H- honey I didn't mean to-" he said. "Okay, I'll be quiet." I said quietly as I sat down and still with my mouth shut.

"No, I'm sorry." He said, kneeling in front of me, holding my hands. "It's okay. I'll be quiet. I'm sorry." I said, still quietly.

I wiped my tears. "I think you should go shower so you'll feel better." I murmured.

He looks at me, kisses my hand and went to shower. I sat quiet and still, fidgeting with my fingers.

I am a person who obeys pretty much everything. Not in... That way. I had very strict parents before I moved out. Until now, they still are a bit strict with me.

When I was told to do something and I refused, they say that I don't care about them just because I refused to do something that is extremely easy for them. And so I things for people I love so very much and don't get me wrong. My parents love me and I love them but at times, what they say can hurt me a lot and throughout my childhood and living with them, taught me how to suck it up.

Darry finishes showering and he came back to the living room.

"Y/n I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you. I had a bad day at work today." He said.

I stood silent.

"Hey, I'm not gonna do anything if you talk. It's okay."

He wipes my tears, brushes my hair and holds my hands.

"Talk to me please, Y/n." He said.

"I'm really sorry." I mumbled. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you."

"Okay. Say what you said before, I didn't really hear you." He said.

"Uh. I asked if you wanted to eat something." I said. "Okay, I'd love to eat something. Are you gonna cook something?" He asked. I nodded.

"You want me to help you?" I nodded again.

He smiles and puts a strand of hair behind my ear. "Okay. What are we making?"

"Macaroni and Cheese."

He then giggled, making me smile. "Okay, then we'll make some. C'mon." He said.

"Oh and I learned a new song on the piano." I said.

"That's great. You can play it later."
