"There's my little boy!"

He picked him up into the air as Brian giggles. Steve puts him back down onto the floor where he was playing with his toy dinosaur.

"Hey Hun." He said to me, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "You woke up early." I said.

"Ehh, just felt like it. So, what do you want to do today?" He asked. "I feel like we should ask Brian that. We never asked him what he wants to do."

Me and Steve got married quite young because I found out I was pregnant and he thought it'd be best if we just get married and so we did. We had a few ups and downs but just a few years after that, we're just a regular happy couple with a 4 year old boy.

"Good thinking. Hey Brian?" Said Steve. Brian turned his head to us. "Come here." Brian stands up and runs to us.

Steve puts him on his lap. "We don't have any plans today, what do you think we should do?" He asked. "You guys aren't busy?" Brian asked with his cute little baby voice.

"Nope. We're free all day, baby." I said, pinching his cheek. He gasped, "Can we go roller skating?" He said. "Hey that's a great idea, I haven't roller skated in years." Said Steve.

"Yeah that's great but the place is open yet. What do you think we should do by then?" I said. He thought about it.

"Ouh, can we get ice cream? Like a sundae?" He said with a charming smile.

"Well it is a hot day, let's go grab a sundae on a Sunday." Said Steve.

Oh what a dad he is.

I giggled. "Okay, let me get changed." I then went to get changed and then we drove to the ice cream place.

We sat down and each had different flavor ice cream so we shared.

Brian looks under the table and saw a small kitten.

"Oh my god, a kitty!" He said and pet it.

While he was distracted, Steve leaned into my ear,

"You look sexy in that dress by the way." He whispered.

"Steve you are a father, I thought you'd grow out of that attitude." I whispered back. "Oh, this attitude will never disappear, sweetie." He said.

He was about to kiss my lips but I turn my face so he'd kiss my cheek. I smirk as he kept trying to kiss my lips. I ended up kissing him anyway.

"Aww Brian, the kitty really likes you." I said as I saw the small kitten lean against his legs.

"Yeah. Mommy, can we keep it?" He asked. I look at Steve. "I think he can have it as long as it doesn't make too much trouble." Said Steve.

"Okay Brian, you can keep it. We have to bring it home and get it cleaned up and give it a place to sleep first before we go to the skating rink." I said.

"Okay let's go now!" Brian said, immediately getting out of his chair, carrying the cat with him.

"He totally got the cat thing from me." I said.

"For sure." Said Steve.
