"I made brownies!"

"Oh thank god, I was craving something sweet." Said Soda.

I set the brownies on the table and everyone immediately took one. "Hungry much?" I said.

"So, what we're y'all talking about?" "Oh, we're thinking about jumping Cherry." Said Dallas.

"Why? She didn't do nothin'" I said. "You said she was a basic rich bitch." Said Two-Bit. "So what? That's no reason for you boys to jump her." I said.

"But that's how it works, Y/n." Said Ponyboy. "And what in God's name made you want to jump her too?" I said.

He stood silent.

"Look, no one's jumping Cherry. I know she's a bitch, but that's my problem. Not y'alls." I said.

"Tsk. That's no fun." Said Dallas. "Hey don't get me wrong, I love fights and drama. But, I reconsider. I'd know how Cherry would feel if you guys jumped her. It's painful and annoying too." I said. "You all do too."

"So it's final. No one is jumping Cherry." I said.

"But--" they all said. "No! I don't wanna hear it! I get it! Socs attack us anyhow, but they'll stop once we don't care. All they want is attention so don't give it to em'!" I shouted.

They all stood silent.

"Good, if I hear another word about jumping Cherry, I'll jump you." I said.

And with that, they did not let a word escape their mouths. Until...

"Well, we can jump Julie Smith." Dally said, breaking the silence.

"No! No one's jumping anyone! God damn!" I said.
