"Finally! A Monday without school!"

"And waking up early." Said Ponyboy. "Oh no, I woke up early today. Just felt like it."

"Oh, and you couldn't do that on the important days when you are supposed to wake up early?" He said.

"Hey, I've tried!" "Women are supposed to have lighter sleeps." He said.

"Who said that?"

"Science."

"Well, fuck Science. Not everything depends on that. I have the most deepest sleep ever. But I can sometimes still hear my alarm." I said.

"Oh well." He said and continued to read his book. "There's some cake in the fridge if you want some."

"Nah I already ate." I said, sitting next to him. "Can we go do something? I'm bored."

He closes his book and looks up at me.

"What?" He said.

"I don't know. Anything that'll keep me busy." I said. "Oh, how about grocery shopping? I'll buy you something. I gotta fill up my fridge too anyhow."

"Sure, let's go." He said and we drove to the local supermarket.

Walking around and grabbing almost everything I need and find interesting.

"Y/n. Y/n, stop. You don't need that. Seriously." Said Ponyboy.

"Ugh fine. I'm buying this chapstick though.  My lips have been so dry and for all I knowz this is the most organic and it's good for someone who has been dying to not get dry lips." I said, putting it in the cart.

"Well, that's all for me. What do you want to get?" I asked.

"Is a 6-pack of coke and a 2 or 3 snacks all right?" "Sure. Just make sure it's not over 50 bucks." I said.

He then grabbed what he wanted and we went to the checkout. We then got back to the car and put the groceries in the trunk.

I got to my house and started to put the groceries in its place, Ponyboy also helping me.

Once most of the things are put in place, I took the chapstick I bought earlier and tried it on.

I rubbed my lips together and my lips felt way better!

"Holy shit, this is actually really good." I said.

"What?" Said Ponyboy. "The chapstick I bought earlier. It really worked. I was scared it wouldn't." I said.

"My lips feel so much softer!"

"Really?" He said, walking towards me.

"Yeah here, feel my lips. It tints my lips to! Gives it a nice co-"

He then kisses me. I was shocked but proceeded to kiss me anyway.

We let go and I look at him.

"Been waiting years to do that, huh?" I asked.

"Yep. Since we met."

I smiled and kissed him again.

"But my lips are soft right?" I said. "Yeah, I like the color!"

"I know right?"
