"Watch where you're going, pendejo!"
"Oh I'm sorry." Said the drunk dude who made me spill my drink on my dress. "Hey you're hot, maybe I could get your number." He murmured.
"I think not, puta madre." I then rushed to the changing room and on the way there I bumped into another guy. Luckily there was no drink.
"Whoa!" He said. "oh I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking." I said. "No, no, it's alright. Drunk guy did that?" He said pointing to the stain on my dress. "Of course. Sorry, maybe we could talk later. I gotta get changed to a new dress."
"Take your time." He said with a charming smile.
And right after I changed into a different dress and fixed my hair I met up with the guy again.
"Hi again." I said. "Wow, you look insanely different. In a good way." He said. "So I didn't look good before?" "Oh c'mon, don't trick me like that." He said and we both laugh.
"Thank you. So, bride or groom?" I asked. "Groom. We we're roommates in college. And you?" "Bride. She's my closest cousin. And the dress before was my bridesmaids dress." I said.
"Ouh, well at least you have a reason to change into this dress." He said. "Yeah." " I didn't really like the other dress." "Neither did I. I mean I love her, but that dress just wasn't it." I said.
He puts his hands in his pockets. "You're hair looks better not tied up." He said. "Thanks, I prefer it this way anyhow." I said.
I look at him up and down, sort of checking him out. "I like your blonde hair." I said. "Thanks, a friend sort of forced me to do it but it ended up looking good." He said, brushing his hair with his hand.
"Oh they're dancing. C'mon." I said, grabbing his hand and taking him to the dance floor. "What?" "C'mon, let's dance! I have no one! Please?" I asked.
He sighed, "Okay. One dance only." He said. I smiled and the music started. It was a slow dance. "Okay, put your hands on my hips." I said.
He looked at me quite shocked. "C'mon, that's how a dance works." "Umm, okay." He rests his hands on my hips and I wrapped mine around his neck.
"So are you from around here?" I asked as we casually dance. "No, I'm from Oklahoma. Moved here for college, ended up staying here. My brothers like to visit me sometimes. My oldest is married and second oldest is currently running a business." He said.

• Y/N'S COUSIN/ THE BRIDE'S POV •"Baby look." I told my, now husband. He looked to where I was looking.
"Hey who's Pony dancing with?" He asked. "My cousin." I said, shocked to see them together.
"Oh that's Y/n? You guys look so much alike." "I cannot believe she's dancing with your old roommate right now. I'm not mad, I'm just so shocked." I said.
"Shocked how?" "Please, you wouldn't understand me and Y/n's relationship." I said. "I don't think I'll ever will because I hear you and Y/n calling and it is the most confusing thing I've heard." He said.
I look at him and playfully rolled my eyes, making him giggle. I then give him a kiss.

• Y/N'S POVS •"Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss." I said.
"It's okay. It's in the past and the past is the past. It can't be changed anymore." He said. "You're very wise. You sound so poetic, I love it." I said.
He blushed, "Thank you. I am a big fan of that stuff."
The dance ended and we got out of the crowd.
"Oh my god, I haven't got your name." I said.
"Ponyboy Curtis. And you?"
"Y/n Y/l/n."
"Think we could exchange numbers? You're a really fun person to talk to." He said. "Of course. You have a pen of anything?" I asked. "No umm. Oh here, use the attendance pen." He said giving it to me.
"And what? I write it on you arm?" I said. "I guess." He said, making me chuckle. He rolled up his sleeve and I wrote my number on his arm.
"I think you should give me a call later and you can tell me your number through the phone. I don't want anyone seeing a number on my arm." I said. I was wearing a strapped dress so it'll be clearly seen
"I will, obviously." He said, smirking.
