♡ chapter 4 ♡

It was the day for Jimin to get discharge from the hospital so he went to his house and change before he returns to the hospital once again to visit his father. He knocked on the door and stepped inside, he was feeling glad that he has not meet with the person that he would like to avoid just recently.

Jimin flashing a smile to his father and took a seat next to the bed, taking his hand to hold it into his smaller palms. He had planned to not bumping into Jungkook no matter at all cost and seems like he already succeeded for the first day.

"how was your day?"
Jimin asked while looking at his father.

"it was great.. but I have something important to talk about with you so can you make a promise with me?"
Park Chanyeol said and he had caused Jimin to feel curious.

Jimin assured him to continue but then he realized that his father seemed hesitant. Curiosity began to eat him alive and caused Jimin to tilted his head in confusion, mentally urging his father to explain what was happening to him.

"would you like to marry Jungkook?"

Jimin froze up on his spot. He was not moving for a couple of moments as his mind tried to process what his father just talked about. It unbelievable for him to believe he just heard his father asked him to marry the Jeon guy who used to be his bully.

"out of s-sudden?"
Jimin muttered but loud enough to be heard by Park Chanyeol.

"I believe he would take care of you-"

"take care what appa? no, I'm an adult and I want to live with you! I'm still young to marry someone older than me"
Jimin shook his head as he brought his father's hand near his cheek.

Park Chanyeol is not cruel, he totally understand what Jimin wants but he afraid he could not make it. No matter how much Jimin growing up, he still looked like a baby in Chanyeol's eyes and he was never complaining to raise him up alone without a mother figure.

"what if I'm saying that i have not so much time to stay alive? Can you do that for me? I afraid that I won't able to request anything from you anymore"
Jimin eyes widen before he backed away in pure surprise.

The father noticed that his beloved son began to tear up until his beautiful eyes glistening with tears. He watched Jimin shook his head a couple of times before the omega finally broke down and sobbed hard.

"a-appa, you must be kidding me right? you know how much I hate it everytime when you make a joke about death"

Chanyeol smiled weakly at his son before he reaching out for a paper on the nightstand table and giving it to Jimin. The omega furrowed his eyebrows but still taking the paper and read them until the very last information.

"a-appa we still can heal your w-weak heart, we could find the b-best doctor in Korea to treat y-you and we can-"
Jimin was shaking but his father was shaking his head in denied.

"I don't have money anymore Jimin ah, they will take every single penny I have at the end of this week"

Listening to his father's soothing voice had caused Jimin to cry even more. It was hurt to watch the successful company his father working hard to raise ruined just like that. The hold on his hand tighten as Chanyeol tried to assure Jimin that everything will be just fine sooner.

Jimin was not able to form any words as he just sobbing next to father, holding on his hand with the feeling of afraid to let him go. He will sure missing every praises and loving touch he got from his father all the time. Chanyeol then brought his other hand to pat on Jimin's head and play with his hair but he only caused the omega to cry louder.

The door was being knocked and pushed open, revealing the Jeon family from behind the door. Jungwoo made an eye contact with Chanyeol who just nodded his head saying that he already told Jimin about his health condition.

"Jimin ah"
Jeon minseo, wife to Jeon Jungwoo called as the omega turned to look at him with swollen red eyes.

The smaller then sniffed and wiped those tear away before he stood up from his seat to greet the guests. However before he could bow, she brought the fragile pup into comforting hug but only to make Jimin break down once again.

He could not assume how much gallons tears he had wasted in one day. Jimin noticed a pair of eyes were watching him as he was hugging woman.

"I'm sorry if I ruined your clothes-"

"no, you're not baby"
Minseo cut him off as Jimin spoke with his super soft tone as if he was scared of being scold any moment.

The omega could only nodded his head in hesitation even though he would like to argue. He will become more sensitive after he crying so he will let it slide.

"please have a seat"
Chanyeol spoke as he was already seated on his wheelchair.

The insist had kicked and cause Jungkook to move over to help the older pushing the wheelchair to the spot where got a few couches and a table located in the middle.

After the news, Jimin can be seen clinging over his father all the time like a small puppy but deep inside him, he was battling with his inner self just in case his father will get annoyed by his action so he will often found spacing out instead of listening to the conversation of the elders. They need to call his name a couple of more time before Jimin could response to them while stuttering.

Mostly he would sit on the single couch while his arms were clinging onto his father's left arm. Chanyeol acted like nothing was bothering him while he talked to the Jeon family but Jimin kept himself quiet most of the time.

"c-can you help to get appa his company back? please, I'm b-begging right now"
Jimin spoke out of sudden as he seemed like pointing the question to Jeon Jungwoo.

"Jimin what are talking about?? there's no use about the company anymore when I will die-"

"no!! appa don't talk about death!"
Jimin snapped before his breath became unstable.

No one ever spoke after the sudden burst out and leave the air filled with silence. The atmosphere around them was heavy and not comfortable for all of them especially when Jimin tear up in front of them once again.
