♡ chapter 21 ♡

The clock had passed one in the afternoon as Jungkook just woke up from his slumber with painful headache. His eyes widened when he looked at the time on his phone screen before he makes himself downstairs.

He peeked at the quiet living room as he furrowed his eyebrows when he found his husband was not sitting there like usual. His heart began to form a knot to make himself uncomfortable but then he heard a noise from kitchen and causing him to speed his pace.

A sigh of relief escaped from his mouth when he saw Jimin picking up a spoon that falling to the floor before making eye contact with him.

However the headache attacked him once again and causing a frown to take over his face. Jimin in the other hand was quick to turn off the stove and rushed to get his husband as he helped Jungkook to seat at the dining table.

"you're not supposed to stepped out the bed right after woke up hyung ah"
Jimin spoke in worry as he grabbed a glass of water and put it on the table.

Jungkook just sighed with closed eyes in order get rid of the painful session in his head. He was not realising that his husband had already took a seat next to him while holding on a medicine box in his small palm.

However Jungkook left him alone there just like that, he could not think since his mind was suffocated with pain. This had caused Jimin to clench on the medicine box tighter to ease his throbbing heart.

"so this is how he felt before.."
Jimin muttered to himself.

The alpha in the other hand was standing under the shower head as he let the warm water to run down his muscular body. It took a few minutes for him to step out with only a towel wrapping loosely around his torso.

A few water drops falling from his hair but he was not paying much attention to them. He just minding his own business walking into the walk in closet and pick his office attire.

Jungkook could feel the headache began to pound inside his head once again. He sighed before he left the walk in closet as he planned to wear the suit later inside the bedroom.

"Jimin?"
He asked in surprise when he saw his husband was probably waiting for him while sitting at the edge of the bed.

The omega seemed to finally back to earth when he heard Jungkook calling for him. Jimin lifted his gaze up from the floor as he standing next to the bed quickly while looking ay his husband.

"are you.. going to office?"
Jimin asked when he saw the ironed clothes that Jungkook brought with his one hand.

The alpha hummed in response before he hooked the clothes to the wall and took a seat at the other side of the bed. He really need to sit down for a couple of minutes or else he afraid that he might collapse on the floor.

"you must have bad headache, can't you at least take a day off only for t-today?"
Jimin asked with hesitation.

He began to feel a little bit regret about his words since he thought Jungkook must be annoyed by him. Jimin should realized that he actually married to a successful workaholic man.

None of them ever dare to speak to break the silence but not until Jimin remembered about the food tray that he brought along with him earlier.

"i cook for you, make sure to finish all of them before taking your medicines"

Jungkook turned his head to look at the food tray located on the nightstand. The meal was steaming hot following by savoury smell spreading in the air.

His wolf was sticking it's tongue out while wiggling it's tail in enjoyment, having your mate cooking for you was another level of euphoric. Jungkook closed his eyes while he tried to ignore the fact that he almost jump from his seat to tackle his small husband into a big hug but he afraid he might hurt his own feelings later.

"it's okay, i don't feel hungry-"

"but i spend time to make them!"
Jimin cut him off but then he gasped when he realized that he might probably disrespect the alpha.

It will be a huge lie if Jimin said he was not afraid. He probably will run out of the house if Jungkook make a move to approach him out of the sudden.

Jimin had just exposed himself when his scent in the air turned sour just like last night when both of them were in the elevator. Jungkook scrunched up his nose at the familiar scent but he was not saying anything.

The omega just staring on the floor while playing with his bottom shirt until he heard shuffling from the other side of the room. He saw Jungkook standing up from the bed as Jimin gripped on his shirt tighter, afraid just in case his husband will come to his direction.

However he saw Jungkook walking straight to the walk in closet once again. Jimin could not help but to tilt his head aside in confusion when he noticed that Jungkook brought the clothes along with him and he thought the alpha really will go to the office in that condition.

The idea had caused Jimin to feel his heart throbbing inside. He let out a shaky breath before he turned to look at the meal that he cooked earlier.

It going to be waste if he throw this meal into the trashcan but he got nothing else to do, he was not hungry since he lost his appetite since morning.

"I'm such an idiot"
Jimin whispers before he lifted the food tray up from the table.

He could feel his eyes began to glisten with tears at the thought of his own husband rejecting the food that he cooked. The omega was about to take a step towards the door but the sound came from behind had startled him.

"where are you going with that?"
Jungkook asked as he mentioned about the tray of food while he closed the closet door behind him.

Jimin turned around with hesitation as he noticed that Jungkook was not wearing his office suit but only black shirt with grey sweatpants. His hair was still wet but Jungkook just make himself to sit on the bed once again.

"give me"
The alpha extended his hand.

Jimin blinked a couple of times just to make sure that he was not dreaming. His husband waiting for him as he had seated on his left side on the bed.
