300 AC, Riverrun

"How dare you!" Edmure Tully yelled while walking into the dining hall where Alyssa was seated, breaking her fast. All the boys, Catelyn and the Blackfish looked up at the commotion but Alyssa didn't bother.

She turned the to the next page in the book she was reading and took a sip of water from her goblet. The same goblet that seconds later was knocked out of her hand, clattering against the floor as Edmure Tully glared down at her.

"It was empty anyways," Alyssa shrugged, calmly closing her book and looking up at the auburn haired Lord, "Now what can I do for you, My Lord?"

"Who do you think you are to order my men, my servants, around behind my back?" Edmure asked her, "You are but a guest in my home-"

"I'm very grateful for your hospitality," Alyssa said, "and I assure you that I would never overstep my boundaries as a guest in your lovely home."

"You entered the Kingslayer's cell without my permission-"

"I do not need your permission to visit my husband," Alyssa stated simply, "He is not your prisoner."

"And you ordered my servants to draw him a bath and give him fresh clothes," Edmure continued to rant, "Perhaps you should join your sister-fucking husband in the cells-"

"Threatening my lady is an act of treason," Brienne unsheathed her swords in a threatening manner, glaring at Lord Edmure.

"No - helping the enemy is an act of treason," Edmure sneered.

"Oh, he is right," Alyssa mocked, "You should definitely have me thrown into the dungeons next to my husband. And when we are punishing traitors we should probably have your sister thrown into the dungeons too. After all, she tried to release Jaime Lannister from his cell."

Edmure clenched his jaw tightly and Alyssa smugly leaned back in her chair, "It's not fun when the rotten apple is lying under your own family tree, is it?"

"Sit down," the Blackfish snapped at his nephew, "There is no need for you to start the day by embarrassing yourself. I have no doubt that both of these ladies could have you knocked to the ground in less than a second should they want to."

Edmure pursed his lips tightly, turning to his uncle with a glare before looking at his King, "Jaime Lannister is your prisoner-"

"Aye, he is," Robb said calmly, "But he also happens to be my uncle by marriage," it almost pained him to say this, "and the father of my cousins."
