300 AC, Riverlands

Alyssa believed that she had gone mad. Had she finally snapped? Had everything that happened to her over the years finally been too much?

Because those eyes, that scar - it couldn't be anyone else. She might not have seen those indigo ones for more than fifteen years but there was no doubt in her mind who they belonged to.

After the door to the war room slammed shut behind her Alyssa stumbled - she felt herself losing control over her own senses. So with the last control she had - she ran.

She ran as fast her legs could carry her, through the keep, ignoring every curios stare she got as she passed several servants and soldiers in her haze. Her heart was ponding hard in her chest, so loud that the thumping was the only thing she could hear.

Yet she was almost grateful for that because it was like somebody was playing a drum inside her head, distracting her from her thoughts long enough to keep her from fainting in one of the hallways.

Alyssa allowed her legs to lead her in whatever direction they wanted and soon she found herself outside Jaime's cell. The Stark soldier that stood guard looked startled and looked at her weirdly and she really couldn't blame him knowing that she was breathing hard; she also suspected that she looked like she had seen a ghost - she wasn't sure she hadn't.

"I need - I have to speak with my husband - Jaime," she ordered, her tone even more commanding than usual even though she was still breathing erratically and practically had to lean against the wall for support.

"Are you su-"

"Now!" Alyssa commanded. She knew she was being rude, but she'd have to apologise some other day.

The guard fumbled with his keys and and when he was done Alyssa pushed past him and slammed it shut behind her, waking Jaime up from his sleep. There was little to no light in the room and with the last control she had she stumbled towards him.

Jaime looked a little startled by her entrance and the fact that she fell down to her knees beside him, breathing harshly like she had run across Westeros. "Aly, what's wrong," he immediately straightened up. After years of marriage he recognised one of her panic attacks when he saw it.

"He - he's back," Alyssa was starting to feel lightheaded and cursed herself for being so weak. She felt like that seven-and-ten year old girl that had been left to fend for herself and protect everyone else in the Red Keep.

"Who is back?" Jaime asked but he seemed to realise that he wouldn't get a response before she had regained control of herself. "Aly, remember breathing," he sat up on his knees and placed a hand on her cheek to force him to look at him.
