"WAIT! no no no MOM!" you screamed as you fell past the memory which was now far from your sight.

'So my mom's really gone' you realized closing your eyes as you turned to your back feeling the wind push against you.

But suddenly the wind stopped. You could feel your body lying on something so when you opened your eyes you found yourself in a nightmare. 'Why am I back here?'

You stood up from the hard wooden floors dusting yourself off. You were now in your childhood room and it was just as barren as you remembered. A small room with a worn down blanket on the floor, a lamp in the corner and a small mirror hanging on the wall across.

You walked over to the broken mirror and in the cracks saw yourself only younger. You immediately looked down to your hands only to see they were small and childlike. You scanned over the rest of your body confirming that you were now your younger self.

"No no no no" you rambled. "This isn't funny" you huffed circling around the room as you scanned the ceiling and looked around. "Where in the bloody hell are you Proctor" you called out clenching your fist as you paced around.

"Y/N!" a male voice yelled from a distance, "That voice, it isn't possible" you mumbled to yourself. "F/N L/N!" the booming voice hollered demandingly. "Dad" you whispered as your chest tightened.

Like your body had a mind of its own programmed to do such you walked out of the room. Trudging through the hallway as your feet dragged against the wood until you made it all the way downstairs. You stopped right at the bottom of the stairwell gulping as your father stood before you.

"How many times did I call you" your father growled dropping his work bag to the floor as he put his hands in his pockets. You immediately looked to the floor because you hated looking at him, and more importantly hated the way he looked at you.

"T- Twice" you stammered clenching your fist 'This isn't real'. "So you heard me the first time huh, what did I tell you would happen in you ever made me repeat myself" he hissed with his heavy boots stomping against the floor as he walked up to you.

"I-" your throat tightened and you felt your body tremble. If none of this was real then why did everything feel so real. The sound of his boots echoing against the floor, the strong smell of vodka mixed with his overbearing cologne.

You shut your eyes as your hands now gripped the edges of your shorts. "SPEAK!" your father barked as he raised his hand to deliver a sharp slap to your cheek. You fell back as your hand automatically gripped your cheek. 

"I WORK HARD EVERY DAY ONLY TO COME BACK TO YOU, A USELESS CHILD" he snarled delivering a hard kick to your stomach sending your body against the stairs as you lied there unresponsive.

Tears began to swell up in your eyes as your hand wrapped against your stomach. "I- I'M SORRY. I'M SO- SORRY DAD" you cried out holding onto the stair railing to help yourself up.

"You're sorry?" he scoffed turning back around. You only nodded choking on your own tears as you struggled to hold yourself up. "Go to my room" he said turning around as he walked into your kitchen.

You followed him into the kitchen as he opened the fridge grabbing a beer. "But dad I said I was sorry" you cried while your legs trembled. He didn't respond only taking a gulp of his beer as he closed the fridge.

"D-"

"SHUT UP" he yelled throwing the bottle at you making you fall to the ground. You stared at the floor as blood seeped from your arm as a shard stuck to it. "YOU TALK TALK AND TALK, BUT WHEN I TELL YOU TO SPEAK YOU CAN'T. I TOLD YOU ONCE NOT TO MAKE ME REPEAT MYSELF BUT NOW YOU'VE MADE ME SAY IT TWICE. YOU ARE AN INGRIT OF A CHILD SO FOR ONCE LISTEN AND GO" he yelled opened the fridge once more to grab another drink.
