A House Guest

You stood back up and could tell that you had successfully flustered Hawks, but ignored his now stunned expression. Snapping him out of it you spoke once more in your cute voice. "Will that be all" you questioned.

He looked up at you with an expression that could only mean he was still processing what just happened. "Um yes, the food was great by the way" he replied in a slightly nervous tone.

"Thank you I'll be sure to tell the chef" you said with a bright smile. You took Hawks empty plate back to the kitchen and saw Misa staring at you.

"What" you asked, "What did you say to him" she asked in a teasing voice as pointed to a blushing Hawks who was practically twiddling with his thumbs as he waited for his check. "Oh nothing much" you answered trying to hide your smirk.

"Sureeee" Misa said playfully pushing your arm as she walked back out to talk to Usui. Grabbing Hawks check you brought it back over to him. Upon seeing you he swiftly stood up now gazing down at you. You bowed handing him his check and in a happy voice said "Come back soon master".

"Later baby bird I got patrol but I'll see you Monday" he chuckled.

Hawks POV-

Who knew Y/n could be so... cute. I mean she is obviously really attractive, not attractive in an attractive way though because she's still a student. But a maid cosplay cáfe I never could've guessed it. I did like it when she called me master though.

What am I even thinking I have to get my thoughts straight. I have patrol tonight and need to be ready for anything.

~time skip to later that night~

It's been pretty quiet tonight maybe a bit too quiet. I was just about to turn in and head back home, but suddenly I heard screaming. I was picking up on what sounded like a male voice, but it was coming from the direction of where Y/n worked.

'Its probably nothing but I should still go check it out'. When I finally arrived to the source of the screams I found myself right in front of the same maid café Y/n works at. I swiftly opened the door only to see that Y/n had someone who I am just going to assume to be an intruder suspended in the air by water with one of her daggers to his throat.

I was astonished at the sight in front of me and instantly called out "Y/n"

Y/N POV-

You looked up to see Hawks who had called  your name. "Oh hey Hawks what are doing back here so soon" you questioned continuing to hold your knife at the intruders throat.

As you held him hovering in the air using water you quickly looked at the intruder and back at Hawks "Was he being to loud, because you know I tried telling him to shut up until the police get here" you huffed in an annoyed voice.

"Please help me she's crazy" the intruder pleaded with fear in his eyes before you grew more irritated and ended up punching him in the face unintentionally knocking him out. "My bad this idiot tried to kidnap me or whatever when I was locking up, didn't mean to bother your patrol" you nonchalantly spoke.

"It's fine I just heard screaming and thought someone might be in danger turns out you had everything covered" Hawks said with a large reluctant smile on his face.

Not much later you both heard the echo of sirens indicating the police had arrived. After explaining the whole situation, Hawks also went on to tell them what he had witnessed. The only real shocker was later on at the police station when we found out that the man was a wanted suspect for sex trafficking. Apparently your statement had given them exactly what they needed to convict him.
