My Angel [Hawks X Reader]

DAY 3 part III

As you continued eating your food you could feel Hawks glancing at you. "You okay over there Hawks" Tokoyami questioned looking at him.

"What oh I'm fine" he responded "You do look kind of red" Todoroki continued. "Yeah are you sure you're okay" you said while putting your hand on his forehead with a smirk on your face. "I said I'm fine and we should probably hurry up we both have to head back to the house after this." Hawks responded while grabbing your hand taking it off of his forehead.

After a silent couple of minutes everyone was done eating and the waiter came over bowed and said "Is everyone finished, I hope you enjoyed your meal."

"Yes, and it was amazing as always" Todoroki replied. "Thank you sir" the man said while grabbing the empty plates. "Gochiso sama deshita" we all said before the man walked away to get the check.

He came back quickly with the bill and right away we all pulled out our credit cards glaring at each other as we all held them out towards the man who looked scared.

"I deem it only fair that I should pay for today's meal" Tokoyami blurted out while nudging his card towards the man. "As a hero and your boss I really think I should be paying" Hawks said pushing his card towards the man. "Hero my ass Todoroki invited all of us so I should be able to pay too" you said holding your card out closer to the man.

"Exactly I invited you all here so it's only fair that I pay and that's final" Todoroki said as he dropped his card onto the waiters mini clipboard. "As you wish" the man bowed before quickly walking away towards the register with Todoroki's card.

"Pff" you scoffed as you leaned back into to the booth crossing your arms. "I honestly could have paid" Hawks huffed putting his elbows on the table and resting his head on his hand.

The man came back as quickly as he left and handed Todoroki the receipt. "Thank you come again" he said while bowing as you all scooted out of the booths. "You know I will" Todoroki said slighty smiling at the man.

We all walked outside and said our goodbyes. Then Todoroki and Tokoyami went in the direction of the office to get back to work leaving you and Hawks still in front of the restaurant

You finally built up the courage to say something "So are we going to go or-" but Hawks cut you off "You pull anything like that again and I'll make you regret it". He smirked as he stared into your eyes, unfazed you responded staring back at him "You started it, don't start what you can't finish". You started walking in the direction of Hawks house.

Hawks followed behind "Oh I can finish alright" he announced. "Sure you can bird man" you smirked as you started to sprint proceeding to launch yourself into the air. "Later bird brain" you yelled as you flew away and all the way to Hawks house landing on the front lawn.

You took off your boots and walked over the lawn and went up to the front door. It looked like you had beat Hawks there but when you opened the door and walked into the house setting your shoes down on the floor as you let out a sigh.

'What's taking him so long'

"Took you long enough" you heard from a distance. "There's no way" you said out loud as you walked into the kitchen. There he was Hawks in the kitchen with a plate of chicken.

"Wha-", "Yeah I had some extra time so I stopped by for some chicken" he said cutting you off. You were stunned, you're not a slow flyer so for Hawks to beat you there and still be able to stop by somewhere and get food, he must be something special.

"We literally just ate- you know what whatever bird man so you're fast but one day you just wait" you said walking past him to the fridge. Opening it you leanrd down to find something to drink. As you bent down you felt something come up behind you.
