An Emotional Abyss

Aizawa's POV-

"Coming" I heard a male voice sound from behind the door. "Oh hello" a pink haired tan male greeted. "Is Mina Ashido home" I questioned.

"I'm sorry who are you" the young man questioned slightly gripping on the door. "Oh yeah the whole introducing thing. I'm her teacher Aizawa Shota, I only wish to talk to her momentarily"

"Oh so you're Aizawa Sensei, please excuse my manners come in" he said stepping aside allowing me to walking in. He closed the door behind me as I took off my shoes setting them on the rack before stepping into their home.

"I'll just call Mina's phone she's in her room" I nodded in response before he called her and told her to come down.

"I've heard a lot about your class from Mina. I wasn't really around since I just graduated from university but I'm glad your class has treated her well. She's a lot different now, stronger I should say" he lightly chuckled.

"Well she worked hard for it, she wants to be one of the best and she's well on her way to it. She has a good drive and has contributed a lot to her class, believe me she'll be a great hero"

"That's relieving to hea-"

"Aizawa sensei" a female voice called out.

I turned to the stairwell next to the living room and looked over at Mina. "Ah Mina l just wanted to check in" I said turning fully towards her.

She walked over to the both of us stopping in front of me. "Is there still no new news on her" she questioned seemingly holding onto hope. "No" I replied causing her eyes to slightly droop as a light "oh" escaped her mouth.

"I should probably leave you two" her brother announced. "Just holler if you need anything okay" her brother reassuringly smiled patting her shoulder before walking up the stairs.

"Would you prefer to talk here or outside" I asked looking down at her. "Here is fine" she softly spoke walking over to one of the couches. I sat down at the couch next to one she was seated on.

"So what do they know about her disapearance"

"Well of what currently isn't classified we honestly cannot divulge that much. She was taken without a hitch which raises a significant amount of concern as to possible motives-"

"So you all have no idea" she lightly scoffed blinking as she focused her sights on something else in the room.

"Yes and no, but you have to know the police and the government are taking this very seriously" I tried to reassure.

"Why is the government involved isn't this something the police could handle. I've been interviewed seven times in the past two days and believe me I'm glad they're all looking for her, but is this bigger than what you all are telling us. Please just tell me the truth she's my best friend and I need to know"

"I'm sorry Mina but I cannot tell you anymore then what you have been told. Rest assured I am going the case and will help find Y/n"

'I can't afford to put any more of my students in danger not again especially if she finds out they aren't looking for Y/n specifically'

"Fine, I trust you Aizawa Sensei" she lightly sighed looking back at me as her hands gripped her knees.

"I will be sure to keep you updated on anything new we discover" I said standing up.
