My Angel [Hawks X Reader]

The Sleepover

"You know your blushing babybird" Hawks spoke leaning into your ear. You didn't know what to do so you stood up and whispered back in his ear "You can take the bed I'll sleep on the couch".

With still such a little distance between you two you took a step back as Hawks seemed more flustered by your response than you were. He lightly cleared his throat before responded back in his normal voice "I can sleep on the couch".

"No, my bed is big enough for your wings and I can manage on the couch for one night. Plus you are my guest, I wouldn't be a very nice host if I didn't make you as comfortable as possible" you said while batting your eyelashes like he had done earlier this night.

"You got me there kid" he said with a smile as you stepped back giving the both of you more space between each other. "Do you need anything" you asked Hawks walking back into your kitchen while he sat back down on the couch with a thud.

"Got any chicken" he questioned. "Hawks seriously chicken at 4:37 in the morning" you scoffed as you looked at your phone and back up at him. "Look kid there's always time for chicken" he chuckled softly.

"Sorry but I don't eat chicken, and you know you really are a cannibal" you laughed. "I am not a chicken " he whined. "So whiny for the number two hero" you taunted.

Hawks POV-

"But being compared to the likes of a chicken is just embarrassing" I whined in a baby voice towards Y/n. "Do want anything other than chicken" she asked still smiling. "No I'm good, do you want to do anything" I asked watching her as she walked over from her kitchen. "We could watch a movie" she proposed as she sat down on the other end of the couch pointing at the TV.

"Well what's your favorite movie" I asked her to which she suddenly seemed to get nervous by my question. "It's embarrassing" she answered chuckling as she looked down.

'Y/n is adorable, but she doesn't even seem realize it

"Hey come on it can't be that embarrassing" I smiled reassuringly.

"Promise you wont laugh",

"Promise". 

She mumbled something still looking down but I couldn't make out what she was saying the first time so I said "What was that". "I said chicken little" she announced significantly louder and apparently still embarrassing that she covered her face with her hands bringing her knees up to her chest.

This caused me to burst out laughing practically rolling on the floor.

"Hey you said you wouldn't laugh" she barked in an annoyed voice. "Oh yeah I'm sure it's a great movie" I sneered trying to gather myself together. "We can most certainly watch chicken little" I remarked with a smirk on my face.

This made her smile "Okay give me a minute I need to go change into something comfortable, I'll bring some clothes out for you in case you want to change too".

"Thank youuu" I crowed as she walked into her room. Not five minutes later she came out in just a oversized shirt. I couldn't tell if she had shorts on or not but the sight of her like this made me start to blush so I looked away as she walked over.

Not even noticing that she was now standing in front of me I looked up at her with wide eyes as she handed me male sweatpants and a large shirt that look like slits were made in the back for my wings. I stood up quickly and grabbed them from her saying thank you before stepping back giving her some space.

"No problem, I had some of Kacchans clothes that he always forgets here whenever he sleeps over so I'm sure he won't mind" she chuckled looking back at me with a genuine smile
