A State of Oblivion part III

"That's the problem Y/n, I know you're not" he grumbled rolling off the bed.

"What does that mean" you playfully scoffed scanning over his features. "Nothing" he responded. "Are you leaving already, is this how you treat your best friend" you whined as he walked over to your side.

"I'm surprised you're not wondering where we're going dumbass" he teased forcing you off the bed.

"We?" You questioned raising an eyebrow as he helped you to the door. "Let's go out for a walk, you look like you need one" he grumbled opening the door with one hand and his other one held you up.

"Oh shut the hell up didn't you just tell me I should be resting, and the doct-"

"The doctor said it would be good for you to get up and walk around as long as I'm here with you"

"That is definitely not what he sai-"

"Shhhh the details don't matter" he hushed pulling you through the doorway. "Kacchan this really isn't necessary" you whispered as he guided you through the halls.

"It is because we need to talk" he whispered back continuing to walk. "Well shit we couldn't talk back in the room?"

"No, not there" he responded with out looking back to you. "Do you even know where we're going" you questioned.

"Of course I do" he growled. "Whatever" you mumbled back. "This is far enough" he said stopping in front of a vending machine.

"Far enough for what, seriously what's up" you asked stepping closer to him. "You don't hate Hawks" he deadpanned.

"Seriously" you scoffed. "As serious as I can be". "I do hate Hawks okay, and for matters sake you do too. You said it repeatedly while I was in his internship"

"Yeah but I'm allowed to hate him. You- you had feelings for him. You never told me but I knew. I knew it as soon as I saw you two together" he snapped back.

"No. You're lying"

"I've never lied to you Y/n, and you know I never would"

"But I hate him"

"You think you do" he retorted grabbing your hand. "I don't know what happened to you at that place but what I'm saying is true. As much as I hate to say it you and him had mutual feelings."

"No" you grumbled pulling your hand out of his as you turned around. Bakugo said something behind you but his words floated off into the air as you looked beyond the hall to a large waiting area.

You tilted your head slightly as you saw Aizawa and Eri talking to someone. You squinted closer only to get a glimpse of red feathers near them.

You immediately began walking towards them. You passed a moving surgical cart grabbing a scalpel off of it. "Stop dumbass you're going to fast" Bakugo scolded catching up and stopping directly infront of you.

You looked past him once more coincidentally making eye contact with Hawks. "Move" you demanded pushing past him and marching right up to Hawks.

"Y/n" he remarked as you forcefully pushed him to a nearby and wall. Even with your apparent weak stature around you Hawks would always let his guard down making it easier for you to push him around. "What did I tell you" you snarled pressing the scalpel against his throat.

"Y/n" Aizawa called out from behind you. You ignored him further pressing the sharp object into his skin.

"What did I tell you" you repeated looking straight into his eyes "I'm sorry" he apologized with a soft smile.
