My Angel [Hawks X Reader]

DAY 2 part I

"Y/n I like Mina" Todoroki declared slightly uncertain as he looked away from you.

"Wait what" you responded in complete shock. "I said I like Mina" he restated almost trying to convince you. 'Damn Mina out here pulling everyone huh'

"Todo I-" before you could respond he interjected. "I just didn't want you to get the wrong idea, or think that I like your or something" he commented.

"Why didn't you tell me before" you probed still astonished. "Because I could tell you were trying to get Mina and Bakugo together and after me and Momo broke up I didn't want to get in the way" he claimed looking down at you.

You looked back up at him and wrapped your arms around him giving him a hug. "I wish you would've told me before I'm sorry" you apologized now wrapping your wings around him.

"Its alright there's nothing to do about it now" he assured while hesitantly hugging you back. The elevator doors then opened and just as you let go about to walk out you hit something hard.

You held your forehead as you tilted your head to look up and see what you bumped into. To your amazement you saw a shirtless Hawks in shorts looking down at you with a grin.

"We should really stop meeting like this, I just wanted to go swimming with you guys" he whispered in your ear. "Whatever" you responded walking past him grazing his shoulder with your wing as you walked past

"Come on Todo" you hollered while walking in the direction of the pool. That's when you felt something pulling you. You could tell you were close to the pool because whenever you were close to large amounts of water you could feel it like you were somehow drawn to the water.

The tugging feeling from your insides lead you to a large glass door. You lifted your hand resting your hand on the door as you gazed upon an olympic sized pool with warm lights shining through the water.

Without even thinking about Hawks or Todoroki you flung opened the door and ran towards the water. Jumping in you suddenly you felt like warmth had surrounded you.

Water was always so comforting to you as it was apart of your quirk. The water gave you a sense of belonging, like it was where you were supposed to be.

As you sunk to the bottom you found yourself okay with the situation. You wanted the warmth, the feeling of familiarity, the feeling of acceptance. So you welcomed it, you allowed your to drift from consciousness as you sat at the bottom of the pool.

Your blinking slowed and your eyes finally closing.

Hawks POV-

Y/n just walked away, I was trying to tell her that I- you know what that doesn't matter right now. I'm not going to let her push me away. I walked behind Todoroki who was following Y/n that was slightly ahead of us.

It seemed like she wasn't paying attention because as she walked around the glass windows until she reached the door she wasn't responding when Todoroki called her name.

"Hey kid come on it's not polite to ignore people" I said trying to get her attention but she clearly wasn't listening. She swung the glass door open and started sprinting towards the water.

"Y/n wait" Todoroki yelled, she still didn't listen as she jumped into the water but instead of causing a big splash she sunk to the bottom and all of the water that should have splashed on me and Todoroki suddenly froze mid air.

"What the-" I said looking around as the water around us frozen mid air. Not a single drop in the floor. Splashes and droplets upon droplets of water all held around us so close I could reach my hand out and touch them.
