Reconciliation

Hawks turned back around remaining silent as you thought 'What are we doing' 

'What am I supposed to say'

You shifted your weight back pulling your knees up to your chest. "I-", "You know what I'm sorry this is my fault" he huffed quickly getting up and turning around and wiping something off of his face.

He started walking in the direction of his bathroom but you leaned forward grabbing hold of his wrist. "No, you don't get to walk away from this" you snapped.

'Why does this make me so angry,

He isn't doing anything wrong'

Hawks looked back at you with his eyes overfilled with tears. Tears that now streamed down his face.

"Are you fucking crying right now" you spat out. Instantly regretting your insensitivity you clenched your eyes shut avoiding his gaze.

He remained silent looking at you with furrowed eyebrows as he allowed you to slowly lower your hand. Your knees held you up on the bed as your lowered hand clenched onto the sheets.

"Kid I-",

"Do you love me" you blurted out.

"Yes, do you" he questioned still staring at you as he examined your expression.

"Yes"

It remained silent, too silent for too long. Neither of you said a word, neither of you moved. That was until you felt something warm cupping your cheek.

Your tensed body melted at the feeling as you softened your eyes opening them. Your eyes met that of Hawks and you lifted your hand to hold over his. Your fingers intertwined as you finally came out and said "let's end this".

"What" he queried with a shocked and almost hurt look residing on his face. Relalising how he read into what you said your eyes widened as you quickly scooted back waving your hands infront of yourself.

"NO NO NO not like that" you announced. Looking back up at Hawks you could see his facial expressions changing, almost like he couldn't decide on how to react.

"What" you frowned, Hawks started to snicker, but his snicker quickly turned into a full on laugh. "What is so funny" you sneered. "You are just adorable babybird, like really, aww shit I needed a good laugh" he gushed as he died down his laughter.

"I meant we should end all of this back and forth stuff" you stated as Hawks finally stopped laughing.

"So you want to be together, and actually together as in dating?" he questioned making his way onto the bed as he sat down next to you.

"Yes, I don't care about what anyone else has to say. Right now I just want to be with you and whatever happens I want to get through it with you".

"Okay we can do that, you're enough for me so whatever happens, happens. I just don't want to lose you ever" he said giving you a smile as he wrapped his arm around you. "Whatever happens happens" you mumbled with a slight smile as you leaned into him.

You both stayed there for a moment before Hawks finally said "You wanna go take a shower", "Yeah I feel kind of gross right now" you smiled getting up as you grabbed Hawks hand dragging him behind you.

Smiling as Hawks pulled you both into his walking in shower you both kissed. Not like before where it was aggressive and based on irritation, but impassioned. This kiss was heated and you wrapped your arms around Hawks neck practically grinning from ear to ear as the kiss separated.

Hawks turned the water on and snaked his arm around your waist as he rested his head on the side of your neck as you leaned forward on him. "Do you want me to get your back" he asked speaking onto your skin.
