An Unexpected Customer

Hawks POV-

When she said she would join the internship I felt like flying in loops. So I did I jumped of of her roof and flew in circles when she left.

Something about Y/n makes me so drawn to her, I just wish I knew what. I could practically feel the blush creeping onto my face when she said she would join. Even though I was slightly blushing I quickly said "Great you start Monday along with Tokoyami and Todoroki".

"Okay cool and sorry to cut this conversation short but todays Friday and I have work soon so I gotta go get ready" she said grabbing hold of the entry doors handle. "That's fine I have to go on patrol anyway so I'll see you later" I said before walking back over to the edge of the building.

Y/N POV-

After finishing your talk with Hawks you walked into your apartment to get ready for work. Your job was not exactly one you would call normal. You had been working at a maid cosplay cafe since you were 16 in order to pay your apartments rent. It had surprisingly been a lot of fun for the most part and the job payed really well.

But sometimes you had to admit it could get embarrassing which is why the only people who knew you worked there were Bakugo and Mina.

Still exhausted from working late the previous day you came to the conclusion that you had enough time to take a quick nap. You set an alarm then fell onto your bed drifting off into sleep at the thought of the events that had occurred so far today.

*buzz* You rubbed your eyes looking at the alarm clock only to realize you missed it over five times. Your eyes widened as you quickly came to realize that you were going to be late.

"Shit, shit, shit" you hissed as you jumped up out of your bed. "Ughhhh I can't be late again" you groaned as you sped around your apartment grabbing your things. You packed your phone, work clothes, and a spare change of clothes for after work.

Making your way onto your small balcony which was just enough space for your wings you jumped off soaring in the sky. Grabbing your phone from your bag you saw you had seven minutes left to get there so you flew faster only to reach the front of the building with one minute to spare.

Usually you'd get to work early so that you could have the extra time you needed to put your costume on wings and all, but that wasn't the case today. You opened the door immediately walking to the backroom with your bag in hand only to be greeted by one of your coworkers.

"Hey Y/n" your friend Misaki beamed. "What's up Misa" you responded frantically taking your things out. "You're a little late today, you sleep in" she asked with a smile as you started undressing. "Yeah guess I was more tired than I thought after staying late yesterday" you replied.

"You know you work way too hard, oh and by the way the boss is running a little late so if I were you I'd use that time to get dressed, and I'll cover you for a little bit" she said.

"You know you really don't have to I ca-". But she cut you off continuing "That's why I didn't ask, now go on and take your time" she said with a bright smile.

"Thanks Misa I owe you one" you settled as she grabbed a tray and walked out. Misa had graciously given you a couple of extra minutes so you were able to get your costume on and through your wings without any trouble. Along with that you fixed your messy hair and put it in your usual hairstyle.

Once you had your uniform on you looked over at the mirror in the changing room to make sure your outfit was straight and then quickly grabbed your tray and went out to wait on a customer.
