My Angel [Hawks X Reader]

DAY 1

Y/n POV-

"We should get home, your shift is over anyways and I'm gonna clock out early. The guys are already home by the way" Hawks said as your laughter died down.

"Okay cool let's get going" you responded dropping both bags on his desk. "Race you there" you said as you sprinted towards the open balcony and jumped off flying away.

"NO FAIR" you heard Hawks yell from a distance as you left him behind. That's when you looked infront of you saw Hawks holding both bags of chicken.

"How did yo-" you tried to ask before Hawks cut you off saying with a large grin. "I'm the #2 hero remember" he boasted. "Whatever" you responded with a slight smile.

After a quiet fly you both finally reached the house and landed by the front gate. Walking through the gate there was nothing but the lights of the house radiating bright light into the dark night. Walking silently until you reached the large double front door you both stood silently.

"Are we going to pretend like we didn't make out" you asked Hawks breaking the silence. "Are you going to stop pretending you don't feel something for me" Hawks responded as he faced you and took a step closer.

"Ok then, I have believe somewhere along the lines of feelings I do feel something for you what about it" you admitted looking into his eyes. "Well I- I-" it seemed like he didn't know how to respond so you cut him off saying "Exactly, it's fine honestly I never should have said anything in the first place, I'll see you at work tomorrow Hawks" you concluded as you walked through the doors into the house.

'Why did I just do that' you thought to yourself as you got into the elevator going up to your room.

"Wait a minute" you said to yourself as you pulled out your phone. You had realized that's you hadn't talked to Mina and the group since you left for the internship. You got into your room and took your clothes off locking the door this time just in case.

Jumping on your bed you opened your phone. You had no text or calls except one from Misa. You opened her messages and saw

Misa💓_ hey Y/n we didn't really get to talk after the break in at work but I just wanted to check up on you.

Misa💓_ I know you start your internship today which is why you took the week off but me and a certain stalker just wanted to wish you the best of luck❤️

Y/n_ Thank you sm Misa today has definitely been a day, but I do really appreciate you asking

Y/n_ we can catch up when I come back after the internship tho🥰

Misa💓_. Absolutely gotta go to bed now I have a council meeting tomorrow and need to get some rest after I finish this boatload of work

Y/n_ Don't work too hard sleep well

Wondering why your friends hadn't talked called or at least texted you went to your contacts and called Bakugo. The line rung for a while but then the call picked up.

"Hey Kacchan". "What's up dumbass how was the first day" he asked. "Definitely a day but I'm kind of over it" you responded. You could hear him 'tsk' over the phone before saying "Yeah whatever".

"So um, did I do something because you, Mina and all the other guys never texted me or called" you said in a slightly softer voice.
