renjun left jeno alone after their talk in the storage room. jeno told felix and donghyuck everything that happened and felix made sure renjun couldn't get to jeno in the bakery. renjun was his friend but he cared most about the safety of his employees.
jaemin was happy that renjun was finally out of the picture, he hadn't liked the boy from the second they met. jaemin always caught him staring at jeno like he was about to pounce and jaemin didn't like that.
donghyuck's birthday was coming up and he announced that he'd be throwing a party. everyone was excited, including jeno. sure, he wasn't the biggest fan of parties but it was his best friend's birthday.
jeno, jaemin, felix, changbin, ten and mark agreed to sleep over on the night of donghyuck's birthday so they could celebrate the night with him and then the party would be the next night. so now, here jeno was, preparing for the sleepover.
he didn't bother packing much since his apartment was right across from donghyuck's. he packed the essentials and decided to just wear something comfortable to sleep in so he didn't have to bother packing pajamas.
he locked his apartment and headed over to donghyuck's apartment where he walked in without knocking, like they usually do. since he lived right next to donghyuck, he was the first person there but that just gave them more time to plan mischievous things, most were donghyuck's ideas though.
"hyuck?" jeno called as he walked into the apartment, putting his small bag on one of the stools in the kitchen.
"in here!" donghyuck yelled back and jeno walked into his bedroom to see donghyuck stood in the middle of his bedroom with no shirt on and a random pair of pants that he had forgotten about.
"i can't choose an outfit." donghyuck pouted, pointing to a pile of clothes in the corner of his room. jeno giggled and sat on donghyuck's bed.
"show me your options, i'll help."
donghyuck raised an eyebrow and pointed to the clothes and then jeno. "you? helping me? with fashion?"
jeno rolled his eyes. "jaemin's interested in fashion, i've improved a lot!"
donghyuck looked jeno up and down and nodded. "i'll admit it, your outfit isn't too bad."
jeno smiled and donghyuck changed into the different options he had. they finally agreed that the second option was the best. he wore a black jacket over a white shirt that hung over blue jeans. donghyuck added a black bucket hat, a chain on his jeans and more chain around his neck. jeno nodded, approving of the outfit.
right at that moment, mark entered the apartment and the two called to him to let him know where they were. he walked in and dramatically tripped backwards, shielding himself from donghyuck. "damn hyuck, you're glowing too much."
donghyuck rolled his eyes with a smile and took the opportunity to jump on mark, wrapping his arms around the canadian boy's neck. mark smiled at him and pecked his nose. jeno watched awkwardly and cleared his throat.
"i'm still here, guys."
"yeah yeah, your boyfriend's going to be here soon and we'll have to put up with you two so shut it." donghyuck smirked when jeno blushed.
"h-he's not my boyfriend."
"yet." mark added and donghyuck high fived him. jeno sighed in relief when the doorbell rang and he rushed to answer it, done with the couple's teasing.
he flung open the door and smiled when he saw it was felix and changbin.
"hi lix and bin!" jeno threw his arms around both of them and felix responded quickly, just as excited as jeno. changbin was more calm and just smiled, hugging jeno back. he wasn't much of a hug person but he did have a soft spot for felix and jeno.
"where's donghyuck?" felix pulled away to look around for the birthday boy. jeno pointed towards donghyuck's room.
"with mark, i was the third wheel." felix chuckled and the three walked inside, seating themselves on the couches. markhyuck came out to join them and they decided to play some video games to pass the time.
mark, donghyuck and changbin were in an intense game of maria kart when the bell rang. felix and jeno were too busy cuddled up on the couch together, watching something on felix's phone so mark got up to answer the door.
jaemin and ten were talking to each other but stopped when mark opened the door to greet him. "hey guys, jaemin your boyfriend's over there with felix."
jaemin looked over to see jeno in felix's arms, sitting between his legs while they watched whatever felix was showing him. he did feel a little jealous however he couldn't help smiling at the sight, they looked adorable, plus he knew they were just close friends.
jaemin walked to the couch and stood behind where jaemin and felix were. they were facing away from the door so jeno hadn't noticed jaemin. jaemin tapped felix's shoulder and he looked up. jaemin raised a finger to his lips and felix nodded, getting the message, and leaned to the side slightly. jaemin leaned over the couch and pecked jeno's nose, making the older jump and sit up. he turned around to see jaemin and his face lit up immediately. jaemin smiled while jeno scrambled off of felix's lap and climbed over the couch to hug jaemin.
"he's acting like he didn't just see you yesterday at work." donghyuck snorted, knowing his best friend was naturally clingy once he got close to you.
jeno turned to glare at donghyuck before burying his head into jaemin's shirt. jaemin kissed his head and moved his hair out of his face.
"come on you big baby, let's sit down with the others." jeno shook his head, refusing to move, which resulted in jaemin picking him up bridal style. jeno squealed and clung to jaemin while the rest watched in amusement. jaemin placed jeno down on the couch and sat next to him. the others continued playing the game while jeno rested his head on jaemin's shoulder.
they took turns playing until evening rolled around. they agreed to order pizza and binge movies all night. donghyuck ordered the pizza while ten flicked through the movies, picking a horror. this made jaemin and changbin grin, knowing their boyfriends or soon to be boyfriends were terrified of horror movies.
they started the movie and almost immediately, jeno and felix moved closer to jaemin and changbin. they were doing fine, occasionally jumping when the jumpscares came or hiding behind a pillow when it became too intense but other than that, they were enjoying themselves until they heard a knock at the door. jeno froze, terrified, while donghyuck went to answer the door. jeno quickly sat up and grabbed donghyuck's wrist.
"don't go." jeno shook his head while donghyuck smiled and ruffled his hair.
"it's just the pizza, jen."
jeno's cheeks reddened and he let go of donghyuck's wrist, sinking back into his seat. jaemin wrapped his arms around him and pulled him on to his lap. "are you okay, sunshine? we can watch another movie if you don't like it."
jeno shook his head and rested his head on jaemin's chest. jaemin rubbed his hand up and down jeno's arm to calm him down, whispering soothing things into his ear while donghyuck plated everyone's pizza. they the continued watching the movie with jeno still on jaemin's lap, taking small bites of his pizza.
the movie ended and ten scrolled through the movie options, choosing another horror.
"are jeno and lix okay with that?" donghyuck sat up to look at his friends only to see they were fast asleep. they all chuckled, finding them adorable, felix's head was on changbin's lap while changbin played with his hair and jeno was still cuddled into jaemin's side with a small pout on his face. jaemin caressed his cheek with a smile.
"you know what, i might just head to sleep instead." donghyuck checked the time and yawned, making everyone laugh at the timing. they all agreed and donghyuck and mark left to sleep in donghyuck's room while ten went into the spare room. jaemin and changbin decided to stay where they were, not wanting to disturb their sleeping beauties. they put on a random movie and eventually fell asleep, still holding on tight to the boys in their arms.
