It's been almost a year since Barry was struck with lightning. Iris asked me to come to CCPD with her, not sure why though. We walked in and heard Barry talking about a guy who was really dangerous. "Who's dangerous?" I asked.
"No one, just some thief." Barry said quickly, I looked at him suspiciously. Something seemed off.
"Well, criminals better watch out. Cops in Central City are the best there are, and if you can't protect this city, dad, I know The Flash will." Iris said standing behind Barry.
"What if he can't? What if he's gone?" Barry asked.
I looked at him slightly alarmed, what happened? "Gone?" I asked.
"Yeah, or maybe he's just done, or maybe it's like whatever he could do before, he can't do anymore." Barry said.
"Huh?" Iris said.
"Barry? Don't you have someplace to be?" Joe asked him.
"Yeah, going." Barry said.
I got a phone call from father, I looked up. "I have to go too, sorry Iris." I said.
Iris nodded then spotted something broken. "Aw, Barry loved that mug." She said and then I walked out.
I ran up caught up with Barry. "What are you doing?" He asked.
"Someone needs my help." I told him, then the elevator opened.
"That's a quality time piece, young man." The guy said as he stepped out and we stepped in.
The cops holding him stopped for a second. "Oh, uh thanks." Barry said.
"They took mine, all of them." The man said, he looked familar.
"I guess you shouldn't have done whatever it is you did." Barry said then the doors closed. As soon as they opened Barry ran off, and then I answered my phone.
"Ginger, we need your help" My father said.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Someone took away Barry's powers. I need you to come down here and help us try to figure out how ti get them back." He said.
I got into my car. "I'll be there in ten minutes." I said.
He hung up after that and I hurried to Sar labs. I had just gotten out of the car when the power went out, I looked around alarmed. I grabbed my gun from the compartment as I looked at the ow non-existant lights. That shouldn't happen, the building is designed so it wouldn't...
I quickly called father. "Luci." He said.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"There is a man inside..." He started to say but Barry cut him off.
"Joe and Iris are in trouble. I need my powers back now." He said loudly.
"I have a theory. It's untested." My father said then put me on speaker. "Jump in Luci, I know you can help us with this." He said.
"I'm willing to roll the dice." Barry said.
"Okay, you've lost your speed, yes, but nothing has changed inside you on a subatomic level." He said.
"In other words, your cells are still primed." I said thoughtfully.
"They just need a jumpstart." Father continued.
"Okay, how do we do that? How do we jumpstart me?" Barry asked.
"We need to replicate the initial jolt to your system." Father said.
