Chapter 82

"Oh, my God. Kara," Iris whispered as they forced us to watch.

"What are they doing?" Felicity asked.

I closed my eyes, "not something we want to see."

"This next sound metal through a bone, that's my favorite. You should probably close your eyes. This will all be over in a minute," Thawne said, but he couldn't force the knife down.

"What are you waiting for? Do it," evil Oliver ordered.

"I'm trying. I'm trying but-"

"Mitts off, Mengele," Ray said blasted all of the evil Nazi's in the room.

"Ray?" Kara asked as I grabbed her hand.

"Hi, how are you?" Ray asked politely as I started feeding Kara some energy.

"You really shouldn't do that," Kara said.

"We need you to be able to walk," I told her.

"Oh, I got your S.O.S. How was the wedding?" Ray asked me.

"Long story," I told him.

"All right, don't worry. The rest of the Legends are here and we're busting everybody out," Ray said.

"Wait, we need someone," Iris said.

"To lock the time vault," I finished.

"I got it. You guys get Kara out of here," Iris said.

"Be careful," I warned her as I grabbed Kara's hand.

"Don't get yourself killed," Iris told me pointedly.

"We'll be fine," I told her as we dragged Kara along.

"Look, I know I'm late to the party, but why have Nazi doppelgangers taken over STAR Labs?" Ray asked.

"They're from Earth-X," I told him.

"They hate everybody," Felicity added.

"They want to steal Kara's heart."

"And they have this giant robot."

"Oh, I've actually fought one of those before. Little known fact the suit doesn't just shrink-" Ray began.

"Ray!" Felicity shouted and then his hand got huge and he smashed some Nazi's.

"It embiggens," Ray finished with a grin.

"You're weird," I told him as I focused on Kara again.

"How much energy do you have?" Kara asked.

I shrugged, "as much as I could build up. It keeps the cancer at bay."

"Cancer?" Kara asked.

"It takes a lot more than a steady supply to risk that though," I added quickly.

"Great way to reassure her," Felicity said.

"How much further, Ray?" I asked.

"Waverider's on the roof," Ray said.

"How do you two know each other again?" Kara asked Felicity and Ray.

"We used to date," they said together.

"That's awkward," Kara said.

"Better than your ex trying to murder you," I told her.

"Oliver got the girl, I got a life of adventure on a time-traveling spaceship," Ray said then an arrow went into his suit.
