Cisco covered me as Caitlin tried to blast us again, "come on..." I muttered as I looked at my phone, the panic button flaring. "We, uh we should go," HR said.
"You think?" Cisco asked as we hurried out of the labs. Cisco and HR stood behind the glass as I slid underneath the desk and made myself invisible. I cringed as Cisco and Wells were thrown back and then I heard Caitlin talking to Julian.
"Oh, probably should've made that out of carbyne. Rookie mistake."
"You do not want to hurt me, Caitlin."
"You know, you probably should've spent a little more time finding a cure for what ails me."
"I care about you, Caitlin."
"Show me," Caitlin said. My eyes widened in alarm as I stood up and ran to the doorway, not thinking twice before I blasted Caitlin. Cisco did the same and then we ran out.
"Go to the time vault," Cisco ordered me.
I didn't argue as I turned myself invisible and ran as fast as I could. I made it to the vault and opened it. I heard footsteps behind me and I closed the vault and went behind the fake wall Harry installed for me when he was last here.
I held my breath as Caitlin walked in, but she didn't see me. And she didn't know about the fake wall. "Wouldn't want to kill a pregnant woman anyways," Caitlin muttered walking out. I didn't leave the time vault until Barry ran in.
"Ginger?" Barry asked looking around in panic.
I lowered the fake wall and stepped out, "I'm here."
"Oh, thank God," Barry said as he wrapped me in a hug.
"Where is she?" I asked looking at Barry.
"She's gone," Barry said.
"Hey, Julian, how about next time you decide to release my friend's inner ice demon, you do it sometime in July?" Cisco said angrily as I walked in with Barry.
"I know you're not being serious. I was trying to save her life, Cisco," Julian said.
"Iris was right. Even H.R. was right. We should've taken her to a hospital," Cisco said.
"Brilliant idea, yes. Expose her meta-human status to the world. That would've been great, wouldn't it?" Julian asked sarcatically.
"Hey, guess what? She's gonna do that anyway," Cisco yelled.
"Guys! Arguing isn't gonna help us find her," Barry said breaking it up.
"Maybe we should just take five," I said heavily.
"Yeah," Cisco said walking out.
"Yeah, probably right," Julian agreed going the opposite direction.
"I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna run to the future," Barry said.
"Wait, what?" Wally and I asked.
"You want to do this now?" Joe asked.
"Barry, Caitlin is still out there," Iris pointed out.
"I know, but we're running out of time. If I can find my future self, I can find out who Savitar is how we defeated him. Besides, I can run to the future and be back like I never even left," Barry said.
"All right, what do you need us to do?" Joe asked.
"Just keep everybody else away from the pipeline," Barry ordered.
"Barry, last time you went to the future, it was by accident. How are you supposed to get there now?" Wally asked.
"With your help," Barry answered.
