Adagio for Tron played softly in the background as I continued the long process of grading papers. With my therapy starting up again, I wanted to get as much done as soon as I could. Once this semester was over, I would be taking time off.

With the amount of therapy they want me to do, it won't be until July that I do the surgery. The doctors told me that it was to get my body ready and give me the best chance, but I know that's not true. The reason they're making me do so much therapy is that they don't think I'll survive the surgery.

Maybe they're right, and the continued chemo and radiation treatments will eliminate a large percent of the chunk. But with how aggressive the cancer is, I might not wake up from the surgery. I think it is their way of giving me more time to get my 'affairs' in order, or maybe they just don't want to deal with my mother when she is angry.

I sure as heck don't.

The music changed to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and then I heard a knock on the door. I looked at the clock confused, Barry said he wouldn't be stopping by again tonight. I quietly pulled out the tranq gun that we used on Zoom and then opened the door. Luckily for me, it was Iris. "Expecting somebody else?" She asked eyeing the gun.

I laughed, "you never know these days. With what I found in my house a few weeks ago..."

"How are you doing with that?" Iris asked.

I shrugged, "I moved all of my things out of the room. I'm planning on selling this place, but until I find out if my siblings want to live with me again."

"How is your family?" Iris asked next as she came in.

"They're doing well, my parents are homeschooling the twins since they aren't really in a place to send them to school. Now it's my turn to ask a question, and don't be offended... What on earth are you wearing?" I asked looking at Iris in her short-shorts, low-cut top, fur jacket, and purple accented hair.

Iris smiled at me as she held up a bag, the look in her eyes made me nervous, "I was wondering if you were up to an adventure."

I took the bag and looked at her in shock, "what kind of adventure?"

"The kind that doesn't involve speedsters, but might be illegal," Iris answered. I raised my eyebrow at her as I pulled out the clothing, "drag racing."

"Count me in."

"Baby," a guy said and then he whistled at Iris and me.

"Mama, check out that ass," another guy said.

"Who is he talking about?" I asked Iris in a whisper.

Iris shrugged, "just don't tell Barry."

"What the hell are you doing here aside from trying to send me to therapy?" Wally asked Iris and then he saw me. "Barry is going to kill me..."

"I told you, I did some research. I thought it would be a good idea for a story for the paper, plus I thought this would be a great way for us to really get to know each other. I mean, I want to know what's so great about this that you can't let go, bro," Iris said.

"No one here is eager to get their picture in the paper, you got me?" Wally said.

"And which part of the paper? I've seen a lot of kids end up in the wrong place," I told Wally.

"The front where they put the mug shots or in the back in the obituary section?" Iris asked.

"Yo, why don't you just take a page out of your dad's book. Let me do what I'm gonna do, okay? I don't need a big sister," Wally said.
