Chapter 65

"I'm happy again... I'm laughing at clouds... So dark up above," Gene Kelly sang as Barry watched Singing in the Rain, again.

"Is this a hint for a baby name?" I asked as I sat down next to him.

Barry laughed, "no this is just what my mom and I used to watch. I know it's a little crazy, but I like having it on. Especially now."

"So not a baby name?" I asked kissing Barry.

"Nope," Barry said smiling.

"So what is it with you and musicals? You would think you're secretly a Glee fan, please don't say Sebatian Smythe," I said with a wink.

"No, I am not secretly a Glee fan," Barry said nudging me playfully. "It's just, everything's better in song."

"So are you going to serenade me?" I asked smiling and then our phones went off.

"It's HR," Barry said.

"Raincheck?" I asked.

"Definitely," Barry said picking me up and whisking me off.

"BA," HR greeted.

"Someone's coming through?" I asked.

"Could be Gypsy," Cisco offered.

"Could be, or it could be..." HR said and then Kara was in front of us.

"Supergirl?" Barry asked.

"Kara," I said concerned quickly running down the steps to look at her.

"What happened to her?" Barry asked.

"We don't know, but whoever did it has come to this world," a man said darkly.

"Her vitals are low," Caitlin said.

"How long has she been like this?" I asked the two guys.

"A few hours," J'onn said.

"Okay, we need to find whoever did this to Kara and punch him repeatedly until he reverses whatever spell he put on her, and I get to punch him first," the other man said.

"Who are you exactly?" Barry asked.

"My name is Mon-El," he replied. "I'm... I'm Kara's friend. We're more more than friend. We've been kissing a lot."

"And we have another one," I muttered to Barry.

"Oh, she never mentioned she had a boyfriend," Caitlin said.

"It's a recent thing, so," Mon-El said.

"I thought you two broke up," J'onn said.

"Look, hey, whatever's going on between me and Kara, I cannot leave her like this, okay? I need to get her back," Mon-El said.

"We will, I promise," Barry said.

"So what happened to her?" I asked.

"An alien prisoner escaped our custody. He did something to her, put her in some kind of a coma. And then he disappeared. We tracked him here and followed," J'onn said.

"Okay, but why would he come to this Earth?" Barry asked.

"Well, we believe for you."

"Me? Why?"

"We don't know. But his last words before he disappeared were about finding the fastest man alive."

"Okay, well, clearly, we're talking about a breacher here. And if there's one thing I can do, it's find breachers," Cisco said.
