I sat next to Julian as we watched Barry and Wally chase after another gang, it was more like they were messing with them, but that's okay. Cisco was trying to get HR's attention, but was failing rather spectaculary. I rolled my eyes, annoyed at the boys, so I got the job done myself, "HR!"
"Hey, yep, here we are," HR said jumping.
"Barry needs help," Cisco said shooting me a thankful look.
"Your children are going to be terrified of you," Julian said.
"Where's Kid Flash?" I asked ignoring Julian, which he just laughed at.
"He's on his way," HR answered.
"Even if he's not, he'll get there quickly," I said with a shrug.
"Surely all your adventures are not this disorganized?" Julian asked.
"There's a method to the madness, mate. Watch and learn," Cisco said in a fake british accent.
"The Electric Gang is headed north, you need to cut them off before they reach the freeway," I told Barry.
"Are you the voice of reason?" Julian asked me.
I shrugged, "I can be."
"Oh look, hot cheerleaders," Iris said making me laugh.
"Wally must be loving this," I said and then the two guys ran back in.
"Nice save! Could not have scripted it better myself," HR said clapping Wally on the back.
"Thanks. Barry did most of the heavy lifting," Wally said.
"BA," HR said holding out his arms.
"Yes, bravo, boys. Although I did find at least six ways you could have done it more efficiently, just-just saying," Julian said making me laugh.
"I mean, the busload of hot cheerleaders seemed like the way that we did things," Wally said.
"Oh, that's going in the book," Cisco said.
"You know what? I'm running low; let me buy you a cup of coffee over at CC Jitters," HR said grabbing Wally and dragging him out. "Bond, are you coming?" HR asked and I had to hold my breath to keep from laughing.
"No, thank you," Julian said as the two men left, and then I started laughing. "What is up with you?"
I giggled, "you as James Bond... Oh, everybody would die including yourself."
"So exactly how many hot cheerleaders?" Iris asked wiggling her eyebrows at Barry.
"I was a good boy," Barry said as he grabbed my hand and wrapped his arms around me. "You know, he's just been looking forward to this for a long time; he's enjoying the moment."
"Well, I'm glad you have his back," Iris said.
"We have each other's back," Barry said smiling. "It's actually been really nice having him out there."
I nodded in agreement, "I don't have to worry Barry will do something stupid."
"Hey, I meant to ask you. When you found the Electric Gang, did you see them meeting with anyone else?" Iris asked.
"Like who?" Barry asked.
"Well, word on the street is, there is a new arms dealer in town with access to sophisticated weaponry like the gun that Plunder used," Iris said.
"Don't you think that's something for the police to handle?" Barry asked.
"I'm still a journalist, Barry," Iris said. "Which speaking of, I need to get back to my job."
