"Ready when you are, Barry," I told Barry as Iris gave me a pleading look.

"I'm ready!" Barry shouted.

"Are you serious?" Cisco asked.

"Come on, Cisco, just one more," Iris pleaded.

"She said two hours ago," Cisco said giving me a look.

"Why am I in the middle here?" I asked.

"Look, you know he's not gonna stop until he makes it through," Iris said. "Come on, you know how Barry gets."

Cisco and I shared a look, "one more."

"Thank you," Iris said.

"All right, here we go. Three two one. Now!" I said as Cisco opened the portal and promptly closed it, yet Barry still could not catch it.

"Damn it!" Barry swore.

"Language," I reminded.

"One more," Iris said.

"Ginger," Cisco said.

"Let's take a break," I announced.

"No, not until I get this, all right? Come on," Barry said.

"Listen, Miyagi," Cisco said and I bit back a laugh. "I've been here all day, opening breaches, all right, so unless you wanna rub your hands together and do some magic shoulder popping-"

"I'm not rubbing your shoulder," Barry said.

"That's what I thought. I'm taking five," Cisco said walking out.

"Hey, come on!" Barry pleaded.

"I'm taking five!" Cisco said again.

"I'm gonna go check on the twins while you two talk," Iris said running out.

"I don't understand why I can't get this," Barry said.

"Well, probably because you've been up all night," I told him.

"But that shouldn't matter, you do it all the time," Barry said.

"Dealing with your children is not the same," I told him with a coy look. "Barry, a bridge closes in three picoseconds. DeVoe's could shut even faster. I'm just saying that this might not even be the best plan to catch him anyway."

"It's a plan, you know. It's the only one we have right now," Barry said.

"And what if he uses his force field against you? You don't know how to get out of it yet," I told him.

"I don't know, but, I mean, we need something. We have no leads on the next three bus metas, no way to track DeVoe, no way to stop him. I mean, he can't be this smart," Barry said hopelessly. "I'm sorry, but, I mean, we've been at this for months, and we have nothing."

"Maybe that's the problem," I told him gently as I sat down next to him. "You know, sometimes you have to take a breather and let the answer come to you. Do something else for a bit."

"Like what?"

I pretended to think, "like date night, for starters. You know, we haven't had any quality time, just you and me, since-"

"Esther and Henry were born," Barry said.

"I was going to say our honeymoon," I told him.

"Which was severely cut short," Barry added.

"I know we're the Flash, but we-"

"We're also Barry and Ginger," Barry told me. "All right, I'm gonna make a reservation tonight, someplace very romantic."
