Short on Time

Chapter 8

        I stood the mall looking around slightly terrified. I had decided that now would be a good time to go Christmas shopping, surpirsingly there weren't that many people. What actually terrified me was getting the right gifts for everyone, including my family members. I already know what Iris is giving Barry so at least I won't buy the same thing. I stepped into a women's clothing shop looking for something for Iris, Caitlin, and Felicity. I kind of asked Oliver what shoe size Felicity is, so I grabbed her a pair of heels and found the newest stuff for hacking. I don't understand half of it, hopefully it's good. 

        For Iris I grabbed her a cute jacket and a scarf to go with it. Caitlin was a little harder, in the end I decided to get her a kind of make-up bag. Except that it would carry a full medical kit and stuff for her to take blood. I also grabbed her a lot of chocolate, I figured can't go wrong with food. For Cisco I grabbed him three t-shirts of his favorite comic books along with a huge bag of licorice. I also got Joe a new tie, figured he could use one. Eddie got a new tie as well, I'm lame when it comes to shoping for guys. However Eddie's tie did match Iris's scarf.

        For Oliver I made some poisons, they don't kill, but they're pretty useful. I also got him a set of katana's, figured he should be good at all forms of weaponry. For Diggle I got him a bunch of baby clothes and toys for his daughter, along with matching shirts for his family. For Roy I decided to cal Thea and I ended up getting him a bunch of red clothing... I didn't know what to give him. 

        For my father I actually didn't know what to give him, so the first thing I bought was a little horn to place on his wheelchair so we could know where he is at all times. I also got him a few new tops and his favorite kind of whisky. I didn't know what else to get him... For Barry I managed to find a red mug that looked almost like the one that he already had, on the bottom of it was written 'I am secretly the Flash'. I also got him a shirt that said: 'I'm not saying I'm the Flash, I'm just saying weve never been in the same room together.' I thought it was pretty clever and who knows maybe it'll help with keeping his secret identity.

        I also made him some more of the bars Cisco designed. Barry complained that they didn't taste very good so I alterred them, they still have everything they're supposed to have. However, I made them taste a lot better. Though how I got one of them to taste like my famous cooking I have no idea. I just hope Barry likes them, I know he'll like the mug. But I don't know about everything else...

        For my family I got my younger sister a bunch of pranking stuff, she loves to prank her twin brother. For my twin brother I got things for him to prank her back, along with a hughend microscope. He's kind of like a mini Barry... I also picked up some clothes for my sister as well as lots of junk food for the both of them. For my father I got him a tie and finished a family photo albumn for both him and mom. I also got my parents matching aumni sweatshirt from the University of Illionois. For my mom I got her favorote perfume. 

        Once I finished my shopping I quickly ran home and wrapped everything. I had just finished when I got a call from Barry. "Hey Barry." I said smiling.

       "Hey Ginger." Barry said.

         "What's up?' I asked.

        "Mistletoe?" I blushed but laughed. "No, I was wondering if you could come by Star labs?" Barry asked.

        "Sure, when?" I asked gathering all of my presents into a bag.

        "Now?" Barry asked.

         I laughed. "Sure, I'll be there soon." I told him.

        "Or I could come and get you." Barry said.
