You tinker a bit more with the robot you'd created. It's small, but fast. And defences were high. You knew it would win.
You run to the bottom of the monastery's staircase, and hop onto a motorcycle Jay made for you. You drive downtown, and into an alleyway. A Robot Fight.
There was a man leaning against a wall, smirking devilishly at his current opponent, who's robot was getting destroyed. The man's bot had a built in saw, and hammer. You gulp softly as you start reassessing your choice.
The opponent runs away, his robot torn apart. The man sees you and gestures you to the small rink without a word. You bite your lip and sit down at the opponent seat.
"What's your name, lil guy?" He asks, setting up his bot on the field. You pout and tug on the hood of your hoodie. "I'm a girl! And my name is
Y/N Walker." You hiss, placing your robot in the rink.
"I see... Well, good luck punk..." He laughs and a gong is rung. You rip out a controller from your sweater pocket and begin dominating the man's robot. He looks shocked, then growls.
"Finish that little punk's robot!" He hollered, as a saw was being pointed at your robot. You gasp as in a single instant, your robot was sliced in half. Tears well up in your eyes... You lost.
"Well that was a waste of time." The man cackled. "Now pay up."
"Wh-What?" You stutter. "Did I stutter? Pay up! If you lose a match, you may a 5$ fee!" He sneers.
You dig into your pockets, only finding a few pieces of lint and a penny. You gulp softly as you're surrounded by punks, closing in.
"Oh no.." You mutter, stepping back-
You back into something.
You yelp and look behind you, finding stone warriors holding their weapons high.
"What th-"
You're cut off by one of the warriors placing a burlap sack over your head and tying you up. You yelp for help- but notice that your voice only echoes.
Everybody ran.
You were helplessly dragged off to who knows where... Hoping inside that it was all a bad dream.
"Save me, Daddy..." You sob softly.
