"Daddy?" You poke Zane repeatedly until he glances at you. "Yes, Y/N?" He asks. "You're forgetting something." You say dryly. Zane perks and looks over his blueprints for his project for the fifth time.
"You continue saying so.. But I have not forgotten a thing..." Your daddy replies obliviously. You sigh and head for your room. "Never mind..."
You sit in the corner of your room, feeling like you might cry. Did your daddy really forget your birthday? Or did he just not care? When your daddy got into a project, he forgets a lot of things.
You hear a small sniffle, soon realizing it was your own. "Y-You'd think daddy would at least remember my.. M-my.." You wipe tears from your tired eyes.
"Your birthday?" Your daddy finishes your sentence. You look up and see a small robotic puppy sitting in front of you. It wagged it's tail and tilted it's head. You gasp and look at your daddy, who's standing behind it.
"I would never forget such an important day of your life, Y/N..." Zane smiles softly and helps you up. You hug him tightly, and the puppy paws at your leg. It had golden eyes, and it was adorable.
"What are you going to name him?" Zane asks softly as he puts the robotic puppy in your arms. "... Not sure..." you stare at it and he licks you softly. You giggle and snuggle him.
"The others went out on an important mission, and left gifts for you to open... They should be back by your birthday dinner." Your daddy smiles softly. "Okay!" You squeak.
Zane brings in a pile of gifts from the guys for you to open. You rip through them all in a few seconds.
Kai had gotten you the world's fluffiest blanket.
Jay got you a giant snowflake pillow.
Cole got you a little tool kit and a cap.
Lloyd got you a couple colouring books and crayons.
And finally.. Sensei got you a F/C ninja outfit, with gold stars decorating it. You smile as your daddy gives you the final bit of his gift. An amulet.. A light blue amulet.
"Thank you daddy.. Best birthday ever." You smile and hug him tightly. "I love you, Y/N." Zane smiles at you. "I love you too, Daddy!" You squeak.
