Alone- Jay

After running a good distance, you fall to the ground. You're tired, scared, and alone...

"I can't go back.. I.. I won't.." You tell yourself, your voice weak. You look up and around... You're in a thick forest. Perfect. You think to yourself sarcastically.

"Could this get any worse?!" You scream to the trees. Next thing you know...

Rain.

You grunt in annoyance and trudge through the muddy puddles littering the forest. You sniffle a bit, not knowing it it's from a cold or crying.

"I swear... I get the worse of luck. Ugh! Cheer up, Y/N. You don't need the ninja.. You can handle yourself just fine!" You tell yourself. "Yeah... How hard can it be? I don't need Daddy.. Or the other ninja. I'm staying right here!"

You sit down stubbornly under a tree, and thunder roars. You scream in fear and scurry off deeper into the forest. "Ugh- Jay warned us about this storm.. Stupid stupid stupid.." You hit yourself on the head as you run.

You soon lose your breath and take a break. "I'm safe now, I think..." You gently touch the amulet around your neck, and feel hot tears welling up in your eyes. "D-Daddy..."

You collapse to the ground grasping your amulet and burst into tears again. "D-D-Daddyyyy!" You cry, as the thunder roars loud. Lightning strikes a tree nearby, and you gasp. "Ah!" You screech as the tree starts collapsing towards you. You're paralyzed with fear and exhaustion.

The tree falls at you...

"Y/N!"

You're tackled from the falling tree before it strikes, and you're sent rolling a bit. You groan in pain, and look up to see who saved you.

Next to you... Holding you tight in his arms... Is Jay.

"D-Daddy?.." You gasp quietly. Jay opens his eyes to see you staring neck worried. "Y/N..! You're not hurt are you?!" He yelps as he sits up looking for injuries. "No... I'm fine daddy.. I just.." You tear up again.

"I... I'm sorry daddy!" You cry as you hug him tightly. "I'm sorry for breaking your stuff!.. I'm sorry for running away! I just.. I.." You sob as you feel your daddy hugging back.

"I'm just glad you're alright..." He hugged you tightly with tears running down his cheeks. "I shouldn't have yelled.. I'm sorry tinker..."

You snuggle close to him with a sniffle. "Th-Thank you daddy... I forgive you."

Your daddy picks you up onto his back with a blanket he brought, and starts walking back to the monastery. You snuggle up to his back and fall asleep.
