Shaking in fear, you felt the cold and sharp glares of the skeletons around you. They were mumbling to one another, every so often you heard them use the term 'Nindroid's Kid'. You didn't know what that meant.

You knew your dad was a Nindroid. You'd known for awhile now, and it never bothered you.

But something about the name... Nindroid Kid... Concerned you.

"Um.. Excuse me?" You ask the skeleton who looked the nicest. "Why am I here...? Why did you hurt my friends?"

The skeleton seemed almost.. Glad, you'd spoken to him.

"Oh, it's just some kind of ritual. All the big, cool monsters are doing it these days." The skeleton replies smugly. Shivers jolt down your back. ".. Ritual..?"

"Yeah. Some sort of test. We pick a young ninja, and test their abilities. If they fail, they die. And if they succeed, the die!... It's a very odd ritual. But hey, fun for us!" The boney creature laughed.

"O.. Oh.. You're mistaken!" You gulp. "I-I'm no ninja! I'm just.. I'm just a kid!"

The skeleton seemed to believe you for a split moment.

"Keh. Don't listen to'em." His partner nudges him. "Just tryin' to get outta doin' the ritual."

"Oh-- yeah. I knew that." The skeleton rolls his eyes. "Like I'd even believe such a stupid lie."

"But I'm not lying!" You cry. "My daddy might be a ninja, but that doesn't mean I am too!"

"Then what's with the get up?" The skeleton gestures to your ninja outfit. "You just wear that for fun?"

"Yeah! It's called playing 'PRETEND'!" You snap. "

The skeleton glares before turning his back. "Brats like you are always causing trouble."

One of the biggest skeletons walks up to your cage. He wore what appeared to be a cape of some sort. Was he... The king?

"Brothers! We have finally managed to capture a ninja child!" He announces proudly. The skeletons all cheer with glee.

"As it is customary, the child shall preform an act of elements! If they fail to summon their powers, they shall be vanquished! If they succeed... They shall be vanquished as well!"

You shrink down, hoping and pleading this was all just a bad dream.

"Now... Go child! Begin!" The kind shouts.

All goes silent. Eyes on you.

"Th.. There's got to be a mix up here.." You whisper to the king. "I'm no ninja. This is a costume! I don't even have a weapon!"

"A ninja does not need a weapon to summon their powers." The king glares sharply. "Preform an act of your element-- NOW!"

You hold back tears as you direct your vision to the ground.

Snow...

And ice...

It reminded you of all the times your daddy would take you outside, and make it snow so you could make snowmen. Or whenever you were sad, he would make a skating rink for you!

You smile, holding close these memories. You might be alone now, surrounding by your fears... But you knew your daddy would get to you...

In fact...

"He's probably looking for me right now." You smile, looking up at the skeleton king. "My daddy's coming!"

"Wh.. He is not!" He denies, as his skeleton brothers mumbled nervously to one another.

"Yeah! He's gonna bring his brothers-- and together, they're gonna whoop your boney behinds!" You giggle, a sudden burst of courage consuming you. "You can't beat him! He's a hero!"

With a sudden flash, the king skeleton was on the ground, held down by Lloyd, who had his foot on the throat of the king.

"Uncle!" You cheer. The blonde ninja smirks your way. "Heya Y/N. Need some help?"

You nod, gripping the cage bars.

"Then help you will get!" Jay chants as he strikes down several skeleton with a single blow.

One by one, each ninja revealed himself from the shadows. Your heart raced. You were right!

"Snowflake!" Zane cries out as he bursts through the forest. You smile brightly. "Daddy!"

Without thinking, you pulled apart the bars of the cage, and ran into your dad's arms. "I knew you'd come!"

The ninja and skeletons all seemed.. Genuinely shocked. For what reason, you didn't know.

"... Snowflake.." Zane stares at the cage bars, which were bent with ease. "... You.. How did you..?"

You turn to see the cage with shock. Not only were they bent, but they had a thick layer of ice on them.

".. I.. I don't know.." You mutter, extremely confused. "But.. I do know one thing.."

You walk over to the king skeleton, who has his many brothers behind him.

"They hurt me. They hurt my daddy. They hurt my family! And I'm not going to take it!" You glare at the skeletons, the creatures that once petrified you.

"S-Stay away! You little monster!" The king stutters in fear.

"You're the monsters." You stomp your foot on the snowy ground. Icicles form and strike the skeletons from below, sending them flying.

"And you're never going to hurt my family again."

You raise your hand in the air, as Ice surrounds the skeletons, invading them in a block of ice.

You turn around proudly, and walk over to your dad and uncles. "Can we go home now? I'm hungry."

The ninja, unable to fathom what happened... Simply nodded.

"... She is totally going to become a ninja." You head Lloyd mumble.

"The best." Zane replies with pride as he takes your hand in his.

"The greatest!" You chirp, hugging your Dad's arm.

"I am proud of you, Y/N..."
