Saved? -Cole

You had been thrown into a large cell by the droids. You had tried using spinjitsu on the bars, on the walls, even the floor... And nothing seemed to be helping.

You slump to the ground in defeat. It seemed like you'd be here awhile. Plus, you were exhausted. You had been spending the past 2 hours pounding away at the cell, with no avail.

No use in wasting away your energy for a lost cause.

You let out a deep sigh, staring up at the roof. Surprisingly, you didn't feel scared. At best, you were confused. Why had the droids dragged you away? Is it in their programming? Were they hacked into?

You had many questions... None of which you were able to answer. At least yet.

The only thing you could do was sit and wait.

But for what?

The ninja?

The droids?

Death?

The unknown always made you nervous. So the future, especially now, looked quite bleak and dark.

The cell door suddenly creaked open, revealing two of the droids who had been standing guard outside your cell.

"Come, Child. You have been summoned." Their robotic voices synced as they spoke. Hesitantly, you rose to your feet, making sure to keep a rock you'd found on the ground tight in your fist.

The droids lead you to a small arena. You hadn't ever seen this place before. It had a certain feel to it that you didn't like...

You were shoved into the middle of the arena, looking around at the many droids that were watching, eyes glowing red.

"As the descendant of the Ninja of Earth, we must identify your abilities for future reference. You will fight the creature beyond the gate you see before you. If you succeed, you will be spared and freed. Fail, and you perish. Are you prepared?" One of the robots shouted.

"W-Wait! Don't I get.. Like.. A weapon or something?!" You yelp, as the droids prepare to throw the lever, to release the creature.

"We are testing your elemental abilities." The droids speak coldly. "No weapons. Only use the earth."

Your eye twitches slightly.

Could you even manage to wield the power of earth?

And without a weapon?

The best you could do was spinjitsu...

It was better then nothing.

"Come at me!" You shout with pride. One of the droids throw the lever and the gate before you rises. You step back a few feet, as a giant tiger emerges. It had spikes, claws, and sharp fangs.

You gulp, feeling your stomach churn. The tiger seems calm at first, as it stares into your eyes, almost hypnotized.

Maybe he was friendly?..

".. Hi.." You wave. The tiger's pupils dilate, and it roars, making you jump.

"Not friendly. Not friendly!" You cry as you burst into a sprint, the tiger watching your every move. It took up half of the arena, so it was hard to escape his field of fire.

Biting your lip, you manage to reach a speed of which you could run on the walls. You twirl, and strike the tiger with your spinjitsu, knocking it back a few feet.

"Wow.. I hit hard. I might be able to do this!" You chirp, determination in every word.

"Do not get cocky." One of the droids replies. "It hasn't attacked yet."

You gulp as you watch the tiger, as it prepares a fireball. (Cuz.. Magic tiger or something.)

You had nowhere to run... And even if you did, you wouldn't make it in time. You shut your eyes as the fireball is about to be released, and prepare for the pain...

"Y/N!"

Your dad's voice booms. You gasp as you turn to your side of the field. Cole and the other ninja were there, weapons and all.

"Dad!" You cry, forgetting the tiger.

"Get out of there!" Cole shouts, as he and ninja attempt to knock down the gate which had closed when you entered the arena.

Your eyes widen as you turn to see a fireball flying straight at you. Without thinking, you stomp your foot on the ground, making the ground tremble and shake.

The ground splits, and giant rock pillars shield you from the blast.

You stare in shock.

The ninja manage to smash through the gate, thanks to Kai's fire. Cole rushes over and hugs you.

"I'm so glad your safe." His voice shakes.

"H.. How did you find me?" You ask.

".. One of the droids leaked a lot of oil.." Cole chuckles softly, as you notice his eyes seeming.. Softer than usual.

".. Were you... Crying?" You ask with a small giggle. Your dad's face brightens up in a blush. "Wh-- no way! Dad never cries!" He retaliates.

You hear the roar of the tiger, as it backs into its cage once again, the ninjas using their elements to scare it back.

The cage is locked, and the ninja destroy every droid they find, not letting a single one escape.

You helped too, of course.. Chucking rocks.

When all the droids were down.. The ninja all approached you.

"You alright there, kiddo?" Jay asks nervously.

"I'm fine! Really!" You smile nervously.

"... Although.." You pause, looking over at the Rock pillars, which still stood strong. "... I have no idea how that happened."

".. Looks like rocks." Lloyd replies with a shrug.

"I know but.. I think I may have summoned them." You reply, folding your arms.

"How the heck did you..." Kai trails off, looking to Cole, who was starry eyed.

"'My little fighter's growing up to be like her daddy... Element and all!" He cooes, noogying you with a laugh. "I guess you caught my weirdness!"

You grin and hug your uncles and dad. "Does this mean I can train with you guys now?!" You ask with excitement.

"Well..." Zane chuckles. "If it's alright with Cole."

You stare at your dad, eyes wide as you wait for an answer.

"Of course you can! You're a ninja, after all!" He grins proudly and lifts you into his shoulders.

You cheer happily, as the ninjas all ask you questions and congratulate you.
