Ava walks with Arizona as they take the Syrian Doctors into the supply closet.
"We're gonna send you back with a bunch of equipment, uh, but if supplies aren't reaching you and there's no electricity, then we're gonna have to figure out another way." Ava says to them as they nod at her.
"Yeah, so, um, take a look around and see what items you do have left in the field hospital, and, uh, put it in the box." Arizona says to them smiling as they watch them look around.

"Thank you for coming, everyone.Sorry we had to rearrange your schedule, but this is important." Owen says to them as he looks at Ava.
"We've got two Syrian doctors here. they used to be G.P.S, but now they're operating
in a field hospital in a war zone." Ava says to them as they all look at her.
"We were planning on teaching them surgical procedures they could do with limited resources,but it turns out they have way less to work with than we anticipated." Arizona explains to them.
"Just give 'em more stuff." Alex says to them.
"When it runs out in two weeks, they'll be right back where they started.He wants to help them function with what they know they have." Richard says to Alex.
"Which is this." April says as she point to the box of supplies.
"So... we need to be able to do the procedures on this list using only what is in this box." Ava says to them as they all read the list and look at the supplies.
"Are you kidding me? There's no way." Cristina says to them.
"There has to be. We gotta figure it out." Ava says to them.

"Okay, so they can debride the wounds with a basic instrument set,but now they're faced with
a huge risk of infection." Callie says as she reads the board.
"Well, I guess wound vacs are out of the question then." Jackson says to them.
"Simple wet-to-dry dressings might work?" April suggests to them.
"Mm. No.They'd have to change those out three times a day. They would use their entire gauze supply with one patient." Callie says to them as Ava thinks.
"Sugar." Ava says to them as they look at her.
"Excuse me?" Callie says to her as they all look at her but Richard as he knows what she thinking.
"It's not in the box, but they may have it around." Richard adds as Ava nods her head.
"It's an osmotic dressing that allows you to avoid multiple dressing changes." Ava explains to them.
"Okay. Well, somebody go find out if they still have sugar." Callie says to them.
"Okay." April says for them.
"All right. So anybody ready to start teaching?" Owen asks them.
"Uh, me. I can do fracture repairs and Ava you can help me." Callie says as Ava nods.
"Yeah, you can put me down.I got a blade I can use for skin grafting." Jackson says to them.

"Okay, so you want to place the screws medial to the tibial crest so you don't interfere with intravascular bundle." Callie explains to the doctor as Ava watches Jackson.
"Medial to the tibial crest." The doctor repeats.
"Mm-hmm. Now advance the screw by hand. Yeah.Until it's anchored in the far cortex. Don't be afraid to push too hard." Ava then tells him as he looks up at the two of them.
"Ah, sorry. I'm-I'm just... I'm trying to figure out how to hold down the patient to keep him still while I do this." The doctors says to them.
"Oh, the patient's sedated." Callie says to him.
"Not when you don't have anesthesia." He says to them as Callie and Jackson look at each other.
"You could get one of the other patient or doctors to hold them down but if you can't find anyone you use your body weight. They should pass out from the pain quickly." Ava says to him as she moves uncomfortably as she feel Jackson and Callie looking at her.
"Have you done something similar?" The doctor asks her as she nods her head.
"Yeah we were in a plane crash and we didn't have many supplies I had to use a safety pin to sew up my brother hand. Then I had to you a tube from a spray bottle and a knife to perform a pericarduocentedis. One was passed while the other passes our form the pain." Ava says to him as he gives her a small smile as she goes back to her work.

Ava walked over to check the O.R board as Meredith and Derek walk up to her.
"Hey so we've been thinking and we're sorting out our wills and right now Lexie is Zola's legal guardian if anything happen to us but that won't work. We were wondering if you and Avery would take guardianship of Zola and the baby if anything happened to both of us." Derek says to his sister.
"Of course we would if something did happen which it won't we'd 100% take guardianship of your kids." Ava says to the couple.
"Thank you but Cristina gets them 3 weeks per year too." Meredith says to Ava.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." Ava says to her as she laughs.

"No, she's her patient. She should know." Bailey snaps at Meredith.
"Leah checked all the charts.She was only on two of the patientsThat got the infection. She never touched the third one." Meredith explains to them all as Ava looks ups her.
"What, is that supposed to reassure me?
A woman just died." Bailey says to Meredith.
"It couldn't have been Leah.The only doctor who touched all three patients was you."
"We're gonna need to get legal down here." Jackson says as Ava looks over at him.
"Wait. Any... anything could've caused this kind of infection." Bailey says to them.
"Yeah, no...Well, we know that, but until there's an investigation..." Arizona says to her.
"No, um, I gotta go,'cause I have two more people..." Bailey says to them.
"Owen?" Richard says looking up at Owen.
"Dr. Webber will deal with them."!Owen says at Richard leaves.
"Yeah, this is Dr. Avery.Get me Joelle Geller from legal down here,conference room two." Jackson says down the phone.
"I will...go over my notes." Bailey says to them.
"Sit down, Dr. Bailey." Owen says to her as the board members watch.
"No. M-my patients are in danger." Bailey says to him.
"Dr. Webber will take care of them." Owen tries to tell her.
"I haven't even told Joyce's husband that she didn't make it.W...I know the man!I don't need Grey to tell him that I killed his wife!" Bailey shouts as Ava looks at her.
"Dr. Bailey, please sit down." Owen says to her.
"What are you saying?" Bailey asks him
"I'm just asking you to sit down." Owen says to her as they all look at each other.
