Ava walks into the conference room as she saw Mason was sleeping with his head against the table as she smiled at him. "Harriet keeping you awake?" Ava asks as mason looks up at her.
"Yeah. Why are you so bright eyed you've got two of them?" Mason says referring to the twins as Ava chuckles at him.
"I also have a 3 year old who taught me everything of what not to do. Also they both sleep through the night." Ava says as Mason glares at her.
"I hate you." He says as Ava rolls her eyes.
"No you hate the fact your baby keeps you awake and you take it out on me because your baby is too cute." She says as Mason nods his head agreeing with her.
"How's being the head of Ortho going?" Mason asks as Ava sits down beside him.
"Great you know with over seeing the hospital, being a surgeon and raising three children all while some how making time for myself." Ava says as Mason looks at her.
"Things becoming a bit too much?" He asks her as Ava looks at him.
"I just sometimes feel like I'm on my own just trying to do whatever I can to survive." Ava says letting out a sigh as Mason walks over and hugs her.
"You got this kid. Your an amazing surgeon and an amazing mom. Also a pretty great friend." Mason says as Ava hugs him back.
"Thanks mase we should probably go check up on this patient off we go." Ava says as the two head off.

Ava stood beside the bed Meredith was sat on as she ate her lunch as Alex walked in on the phone. "Okay, uh, so I have two more patients' parents saying they'll be character witnesses. Yeah. I-I'm trying to get there. I-I'll be there. I'll -- I'll try." Alex says as he hangs up the phone.
"Was that your lawyer?" Meredith asks as she eat her food.
"Meeting's supposed to be at 4:00 if I can get past Timir the gatekeeper. You bring ketchup?" Alex asks going to grab some food as mere stops him.
"Ugh, did you wash your hands?" She says giving him a bit of hand gel.
"Why are we here?" Maggie asks as he and Amelia walk in.
"Oh, because Alex is here, and we want to see what Alex is up to." Ava says as Meredith gives them each some hand gel.
"Does Alex have something he'd like to share with the group? AA pamphlets?" Maggie says as Amelia picks up the pamphlet.
"They're for this patient, this college kid. She's a mess." Alex tells them.
"Literature is not gonna do it. When you're addicted to something and you want it so badly, a piece of paper is -- It's not gonna make her stay away." Amelia says to them as Ava smiles at her sister.
"What would make you stay away? Say if you were a bartender and an alcoholic and there's alcohol in front of you right under your nose all the time. Doing cardio surgeries." Maggie says as Ava looks at Meredith confused.
"Uh, count to five. If that doesn't work, get out of there, remove yourself from the situation. So, on a scale of lots to nothing, how much would you say you knew about my brother when you guys got married?" Amelia asks looking at Meredith.
"I'm not getting in the middle of that." Meredith says to her.
"Why? Did Owen...I knew Owen would say something to you." Amelia says to Meredith.
"See? There's something you know about him." Meredith says winding Amelia up as she looks at her sister.
"What about you and Jackson?" She says as Ava looks up.
"Uhh well I thought I knew him pretty well but apparently he was a different person to what I know and love about him." Ava says as they all look at her.
"Hey everything okay? You've been quiet today?" Meredith says as Ava looks at each of them.
"Yeah you know what I've got a patient I need to go check on. I'll see you guys later." Ava says as she walks away.

Ava finished up with one of her patient as she walked down the hall as she saw Jackson and Ella together. Her mind began to wonder again as she was pulled out of her thoughts. "Look it's auntie Ava." April says as she held Harriet in her arms.
Ava turned as she smiled at the little girl that was in Aprils arms. "She's beautiful April. How are you doing?" Ava asks as April moves side to side trying to get Harriet to sleep.
"My incision has healed which is great but I feel like I'm never going to sleep again." April says as Harriet begins to cry.
"Do you mind if I try something?" Ava says as April gives her Harriet. Ava adjusts her position as she rocks Harriet as she calms down and quickly falls asleep.
"How did you do that?" April asks shocked as Ava smiles at her.
"Mark and Daisy were the same didn't like to sleep but this always worked. Derek taught me it it's relieve tension or something said as there learning to hold theirs heads." Ava says as she hands Harriet back to April.
April puts Harriet in her car seat as she turns to Ava. "How the twins doing? And mark started pre school right?" She asks as Ava smiles.
"The twins are great they just turned 6 months. Jackson is decorating theirs room so they'll be going in there shortly. Just started them on solid food and Daisy loves it. Harry is a little unsure but he likes somethings. And mark loves preschool he's got loads of friends." Ava says as April smiles.
"That's great. I should head off get this one to bed but we'll catch up soon." April says as she gets Harriet and walks away.

Ava had got the twins to sleep as she was reading to mark as she laid beside him. "Good night stars, good night air and Goodnight noise everywhere." Ava read as mark looked up at her.
"I love you mommy." Mark says as Ava smiles at him as kisses his head.
"I love you too buddy." She says to him.
"Can you stay until I fall asleep?" Marks as ava smiles at him.
"Of course I can. I'm not going anywhere." Ava says as mark cuddled close to her as they both ended up falling asleep.
