Ava was getting ready as she quickly put the twins into their car seats. "Are you sure your okay to stay with him? I can call in." Ava says looking at Amelia.
"It's fine I've got a few days leave anyway go to work I'll call you if we need you. He's got a stomach ache Ava you can't do much about it." Amelia tells her sister.
"I know but I'll call you later when he's awake." Ava says as she gets into the car and heads for the hospital.

"Wilson, what do we have?" Ava asks as she puts on her gown.
"Trauma 2.1! Trauma 1." Jo tells her as Ava looks at her.
"I said, "What do we have?"" Ava says to her.
"Oh, uh, uh, a patient...a trauma patient in Trauma 1.Sorry. That's all I know." Jo says to her.
"Wilson, how many hours you been working?" Ava asks Jo as she looks tired.
"I'm fine." Jo tries to tell her.
"You did a full shift before going to Tri-County.
That was an all-nighter.Did you work yesterday?" Ava asks her.
"I just need some coffee." Jo tries to reason with her as Ava shakes her head.
"How many hours?" Ava asks her sternly.
"30... something." Jo says as Ava shakes head at her again.
"Okay. Go home." Ava tells her.
"No, no, no, no! I'm okay. I'm okay." Jo tries to tell Ava.
"No, you're not. And I'm not gonna risk you making a mistake 'cause of exhaustion." Ava tells her.
"Okay. I'm going.Is that razor wire?I'm staying." Jo asks as the walk into the trauma room.
"Home, Wilson." Ava says as she heads in.
"Okay, gently on "three," guys.One, two, three." Deluca tells them all.
"What do we got?" Ava asks them.
"50-year-old female found down, wrapped in barbed wire.Vitals... BP, 90/60, tachy at 120,non responsive at the scene." The nurse tells her.
"Trauma panel, chest fluid, and crossmatch her.Keep her on high-flow O2.Someone get a core temp." Ava says to them.

"Okay, set up a central line and page RT." Deluca says to Ava.
"Core temp's 32. She's hypothermic.Let's start infusing warm saline at a rate of 150 and grab a warming blanket.This poor woman. Has she been conscious?" Ava says looking at Andrew.
"Not since they got her, no.She's lucky her neigh...Ahh!" Andrew says as he cuts his hand on the wire.
"Careful. Okay.Somebody call maintenance.We're gonna need wire cutters and heavier gloves to free up this leg." Ava calls out.

"There's evidence of early ulceration.She's been down a long time." Andrew says looking at Ava.
"The blood flow's been compromised.Page cardio...
We need a vascular consult cause she's in danger
of losing this leg." Ava says as she looks at the nurse.
"Right away, Doctor." The nurse says to Ava.
"Okay, push 5 of haldol." Ava calls out as the woman begins to panic as she wakes up.

"Ma'am, you have to hold still.Okay, max her out on the midazolam drip." Ava says to Deluca.
"Copy that." He says as the woman continues to panic.
"She's gonna tear herself to shreds.We have to stop her." Ava says looking at Andrew.
"How?" Andrew ask looking at Ava confused.
"Ma'am, I know it hurts, but if you don't lay still,
you're gonna hurt yourself a lot more... please.
What's her name?" Ava ask looking at Andrew.
"What?" Deluca asks her.
"Her name. What's her name?" Ava says growing frustrated.
"Uh, Annie Banks." Andrew tells hed.
"Annie. Annie.Annie.Annie. Shh.It's okay. I got you.
Annie. Shh.Annie. Annie. Annie. Shh.Look at me. It's okay. I got you.Annie, it's okay. It's okay. Look at me.
It's okay. I've got you.I've got you.Okay. Can I get a hand?" Ava says as she hold Annie to stop her hurting herself.
"Uh, right. Yes." Ava asks looking at Andrew as he does do anything as she looks at him.
"What is it?" Ava asks him caught up in the wire herself.
"I can't tell where to start." Andrew says to her.
"Just start." Ava tells him.
"Okay." He says as he starts cutting the wire.

Ava was cleaning herself up as Owen took over the patient. She got a call from Amelia saying mark seemed worse as Ava headed up to Baileys office. "What is it Shepherd are you here to tell me about Minnick because I don't need to hear it." Bailey says as Ava rolls her eyes.
"It's not about her and if it was would you suspend me like you did with Meredith." Ava says as Bailey looks at her.
"What is it you want shepherd?" Bailey says as Ava looks at her.
"I need to go Marks sick and I can't get hold of Jackson." Ava says as Bailey looks at her.
"Fine you can go." Bailey says as Ava walks out and heads home to Mark.

Ava rushed into the house as she looked at mark before turning to Amelia. "What happened?" Ava asks her.
"He was feeling better and then he's just been crying out in pain and his fever is through the roof." Amelia says as Ava checks mark stomach as he cries out as she touches apart of his right side.
"I think it's his appendix I'm going to take him to the hospital get someone to check on him can you pick the twins up and take them to Meredith. I can't get a hold of Jackson at all." Ava says as Amelia nods her head.
Ava quickly goes to pack some of marks things in his backpack at she puts him in the car as she drives to the hospital. She takes him into the E.R. as one of the night nurses run some checks on him as she paces around the place.
