Ava dropped the twins off at daycare as she sat beside Alex who was listening to Jos speech as her first day as chief resident. "Was it scary?" Jo asks looking at her boyfriend.
"Very. Very scary." Alex says to her as Ava tried not to laugh.
"Really?" Jo asks looking hopeful as he shook his head.
"No." Alex says to her.
"What? Did...Didn't I sound like Bailey?I was trying to sound like Bailey!" Jo says as Ava and Alex both burst out laughing as they hear a noise.
"What is that?" Ava asks looking disgusted.
"DeLuca and that intern." Jo tells them.
"Again?" Alex asks her.
"Every day.It's like some kind of addiction." Jo says as Alex and Ava share a look of disgust.

Ava was attending to one of her patients in the E.R as she was seeing to the Ortho injuries. All of the monitors began to go off as she shared a look with Owen and April.
"Stop!" Ava called to one of the interns as they shocked a man who began to shout looking at them.
"Oh, God! I'm so... I'm so sorry!" Bell said as Ava pinched the bridge of her nose.
"I was asleep!" The patient says to her.
"So sorry!" Hello apologised again.
"What the hell is happening?" Owen said looking at Ava who shook her head.

Ava and April continued to take calls trying to find out what was going on. "We have two incoming MVC patients." April told Owen.
"Great timing. They can join the walking dead." Owen says to them.
"Is this just us?Or is it anyone else?" April asks looking at Ava.
"That is what I'm trying to find out." She tells her as she continued to make calls.

"Let's keep our voices down." He tells them as they nod looking at all their patients.

Ava continued to check over all of the patients in the E.R while April went to find out what was happening with the system. "We're going to paper charts?" Ava asks walking over to Richard.
"Well, it's worked pretty well for two centuries, Shepherd." Richard says to which Ava rolled her eyes at him.
"Okay, everything gets written down, people.And the phones are down, so share cell numbers." Richard tells them.
"Now gather up every portable monitor that we have...anything that is not already attached to a patient.They go to the ORs first, then the ICU, and then the ER." Richard says to all of them.
"Uh, what are we using for ER monitors in the meantime?" April asks him.
"We use the old-fashioned kind.You are our monitors now, people.I want you to rotate
through your patients.I want you to take and retake
heart rate and BP.Keep track on paper and notify Dr Shepherd- Avery and Dr Kepner of changes." Richard says to them.
"All right, everyone.Back to the Stone Age." Ava says to which April laughs.
"Disrespectful." Richard called out to them.
"Sorry." She smirked as she head back to the E.R.

Ava was heading to check on her Ortho patients as she ran in Jackson. "Hey so not how I expected today to go. The hospital system getting hacked." Ava says as Jackson nods his head at her.
"Yeah me neither it's a really weird day how's the E.R?" He asks her.
"Luckily we have April and she's very effective and being a trauma surgeon helps with working under pressure so we're managing. Where are you?" She asks him.
"Cardiac wing with pierce. Luckily everything alright for now. And Bailey just asked me for 20 million dollars." Jackson says making Ava look at him with wide eyes.
"What? Why?" She asks him.
"They want ransom for the records back I said I'd do it if that's what's needed. We should do this right?" Jackson asks his wife.
"We?you mean you it's your money." Ava says to which Jackson rolls his eyes at her and shakes his head.
"Our money Ava." Jackson tells his wife to which she looks at him.
"Well then I'm with whatever you thinks best. If it keep the patients safe they yeah you can't really put a price of our patients. I should go I'm getting paged I'll catch up with you in a bit." Ava says to him as she pecks his lips before heading to the E.R.

Ava went to check on the twins. She picked Daisy up as she kissed her head and Harry's. She sat reading and playing with the twins for a while.
Her pager went off as she headed to find Bailey who had paged her. "What's up?" She asks Bailey looking at all the different people in the conference room.
"Do you know where you husband is?" She asks her as Ava looks up.
"Uhh he was with pierce and their patient I haven't seen him or heard from since." Ava told her as Bailey scrunched up her face becoming stressed.
