Ava finished helping Mark get dressed as she picked him up and headed down the stairs. The twins were both in their swings as Jackson was making breakfast as Ava placed mark in a chair at the table.

She down down beside mark as Jackson placed down the plates of breakfast. "Thank you daddy." Mark said smiling at Jackson returned it placing a kiss on his head and sitting on the other side of Mark.

"Thanks." Ava mumbled as she began eating as Jackson watched her. He didn't want this for them to be arguing he knew it was stupid. He wasn't mad at Ava for anything not really. Alex was her friend and his friend too. Jackson had other things on his mind he took out on Ava.

Mark finished his breakfast as he looked up at his parents. "Can I go play?" Mark asks as Ava smiled at him nodding as he ran off. Ava cleared up the plates as Jackson walked over to her.

"Shouldn't you be getting ready for work?" She asks him not looking at him as he rest against the counter beside her.

"I don't have anything till after lunch. I thought we could talk." Jackson says as Ava turned to look at him.

"I don't want this argument with you Jackson." Ava says as Jackson shook his head wrapping his arms around her waist as he pulled her closer to him.

"No arguing. Im sorry about the other night. I was mad but not at you. I just took out on you and shouldn't have. Alex is your friend our friend I get you wanted to protect him. I would do the same for April. And I know if I thought I saw another guy trying it with you. I'd completely lose it." Jackson says looking at Ava.

"Your forgiven I guess." She says with a small smile as Jackson leans in and kisses her as she kisses him back. "What were you mad at then?" Ava asks him.

"It doesn't matter it's nothing important. You know my mom is still in town and I have a free morning. We could get her to watch the kids and we could sneak off somewhere." Jackson says looking Ava as she pecks him on the lips.

"I like your thinking Dr Avery." Ava says smirking as she leans and kisses him again.

Jackson laid looking at Ava propped up on his elbow as he moved a piece of her hair from her face tucking it behind her ear. Ava looked at him a smile placed on her lips. "You know this wasn't what I quite had in mind when I woke up today." Ava says as Jackson smiles at her.

"What to be in a hotel room with your handsome husband?" Jackson says smirking at Ava laughs rolling her eyes at him.

"Yeah I guess so. It feels like we've lost track of us you know outside of being surgeons and parents. I've missed just being your wife." Ava says as Jackson lays down and pulls her onto his chest.

"I know it's been busy since Harry and Daisy were born. I guess we just have to make time for us when we can. Thank you darling." Jackson says as Ava looks up at him confused.

"What for?" She says resting her chin against his chest as she sees him smiling.

"For our life. I will never know how I got so lucky to have an amazing gorgeous wife. You gave me our three incredible children." Jackson says as he leans down and kisses her as she kisses him again.

Ava was sat watching the lion king with mark as she had Harry and Daisy both asleep beside her. Mark had suddenly began singing to one of the songs from the movie as Ava began smiling at him.

The twins we're still asleep as mark started dancing around the living room to the song as Ava laughed at him. "Dance with me mommy." Mark says as he pulled on her hand.

Ava got up as she was still laughing as she started singing and dancing with mark. She picked mark up and continued dancing with him as he giggled at her.

Jackson had finished his shift as he had a light day as walked in seeing Ava and mark dancing and singing together as he stood smiling at them for moment.

The song soon ended as Ava turned as she saw Jackson smiling at her as she smiled seeing him as she set mark back on the couch. "So this is what you do when I'm not home?" Jackson asks as he picks mark up setting him on his lap as Ava sat beside him.

The twins were still sleeping soundly as Ava quickly checked them. "We like dance parties right buddy?" Ava says as she holds her hand up as mark smiles and high fives her.

"Are you ready to start preschool soon?" Jackson asks looking down at his son.

Mark nodded enthusiastically as he looked at Ava who wasn't really smiling. "What's wrong mommy?" Mark says as Jackson looks at his wife.

"Nothing buddy. Why don't you go upstairs and get ready for bed? Me and daddy will be up soon." Ava says as mark headed upstairs as Jackson wrapped his arms around Ava pulling her into his chest.

"Want to tell me what's really bothering you?" Jackson says as he kisses the tip of Ava's nose as she looks up at him.

"Can't I just be sad that our baby is growing up and going to school?" Ava says as Jackson smiles at her.

"He's still our baby and we've still got these two and a while before they go to school." Jackson says as they each pick up the twins and headed upstairs to find mark.
