Ava laughed as Jackson was attacking her with kisses as he leaned over her body as she smiled up at him. "We've still got a few minutes before Marks due to wake up want to go again." Jackson says as he brushes the hair out of Ava's face as she leans up and kisses him.

"I love you but the first two times were enough how come you have so much energy today?" Ava asks him as he smiles and kisses her.

"I don't know just seems like a good day." Jackson says as Ava smiles at him.

"The days not even barely started yet Avery." Ava says as Jackson lies beside her as she rests her head on his chest.

"Well let's just say I had the best start to the day possible with my gorgeous wife." Jackson says as he leans down and kisses Ava again.

Ava gets free of Jackson's kisses as she gets out of bed pulling the top sheet with her as she wrapped it around her body. "Nice try Handsome but I think your son wants feeding while your gorgeous wife goes to take a shower alone." Ava says as she throws Marks baby monitor to Jackson as he groans before heading to Marks room.

"Let's run a CBC Chem 7 and get 2 units of blood ready to go.What's the penis status?" Ava calls out to Stephanie as she works on the patient.

"Dorsal veins look good." Stephanie tells her as Ava nods.

"Get it debrided and in saline gauze quickly." Ava tells her as she continues to work on her patient.

"Oh, god! Aah!" The patient cried out in pain as Ava looked over at the nurse.

"More pain meds! Fentanyl 150 I.V.And we need to pack him. Cellulose polymer. Gauze!" Ava calls out as Richard walks in with some of the interns.

"And as you can see,Dr. Shepherd is doing the
groin tourniquet method as I was telling you about,
and Dr. Edwards is attending to the severed... appendage." Richard tells them as they all watch.

"Bleeding's under control for now, but we're gonna need a specialist to reattach. Catherine Avery's on the west coast at a conference in San Francisco this week.I thought I'd see if she could come up." Ava says as she looks over at Richard.

"Is she good?" The patient asks looking at Ava.

"She's... very good, but so is Dr. McMurdo in our urology department here.Call him instead." Richard says as Ava glares at him knowing about Richard and Catherine's relationship problems.

"The urethra is very ragged.Catherine's skin flap
reattachment technique would greatly increase the odds of a successful reattachment." Ava says looking at him.

"Well, then I want that!I want the one with the superior technique!I've worked with subpar technicians, line cooks who couldn't put out a plate." The patient says as Ava looks over at Richard.

"I assure you, Dr. McMurdo knows all the techniques." Richard says to the patient.

"Okay, but I..." Ava says as Richard ignores her and turns back to the interns.

"All right, everybody.Let's give them some room to work, okay? Let's go." Richard says as he walks with Ava rolling her eyes at him as she turned to Stephanie.

"Have you finished prepping the phallus?" Ava says to her.

"About." Stephanie says as Ava nods her head.

"Okay, then I need you to get it to Jackson A.S.A.P.
While everything is still viable.Every second we wait,
more healthy flesh dies.He's in procedure room four.
He knows you're coming. Go!" Ava says as Stephanie ran out of the trauma room quickly to find Jackson.

Ava stood waiting for Catherine as she stepped out of the helicopter as engulfed her daughter in law into a hug which Ava Returned as they spoke about the case before heading to see the patient.

"That is a nice, clean cut. Hmm." Catherine says to Thomas.

"I keep my knives sharp." Thomas says to them as Catherine looks over at her daughter in law who is trying not to laugh.

"Huh. Well, it will make reattachment much easier." Catherine reassures them.

"Will it ever... work again?" Thomas asks as Catherine looks at him.

"Mr. Archibald, I don't want you to worry.I've reattached many phalluses.This... situation is not as
uncommon as you might think.Your vessels and nerves are intact, so chances are very good that when I'm finished,you'll be able to go right back to doing whatever it is you were doing before you got yourself into this mess." Catherine says as Ava smiles at Thomas.

"Jackson's prepped the phallus, and it's in the O.R. waiting for you. And I'll be assisting during surgery." Ava says to Catherine as she nods her head in a thank you.

"His corpus cavernosum looks pristine. I'm impressed.You must have gotten it debrided very quickly." Catherine says to them.

"I ran.With the penis.Really fast." Stephanie says to Catherine as she nods her head slightly.

"Following up on what we saw in the E.R....Dr. Avery.What a surprise." Richard says as he looks at Ava then back at Catherine.

"It can't be too much of a surprise considering that I am one of the world's leading experts on penile reattachment.Since I happened to be in the neighborhood, I just got on the first flight
here as soon as Ava called." Catherine said as Ava smiles.

"Well, then, how fortunate that she called." Richard said as he left the room quickly.

Ava was writing on the O.R board as Richard came up to her as she turned to him. "I've been teaching here for a very long time.I present salient points
with clarity and authority,which is why I am very
interested in understanding why the hell you called Catherine Avery when I explicitly told you not to!" Richard snapped at Ava as she glared at him.

"All right. I'll tell you.My patient today had a terrible injury.The very best person to treat that injury was Catherine Avery.Now, I don't know what personal stuff is going on between the two of you exactly, but whatever it is, I will not allow it to compromise my patient, his care, or his penis! And for what it's worth, I think you two are good together!Also, Catherine Avery is my mother-in-law, so I'll call her any damn time I feel like it! And don't ever snapped at me again. Understood." Ava says as she glared at him.

"All right." Richard said as Ava went to change as she picked up Mark from the daycare as she went tot find Jackson as he saw her as he smiled and made his way over to them.

Jackson kissed Ava and then mark on his cheek as he smiled at the two. "Ready to go home?" Jackson asks her as she smiles and nods as the two of them headed back their house no idea of what would come over the next few days.
