"You're going strong, huh," si Lucia at lumapit pa ang ulo nito para makabulong sa akin.

We're now in the Cafeteria. It's another school year. We're now in grade 11. Ang bilis nga at totoo ang sinabi ni Lucia. Kahit ako hindi ko akalain na tatagal kami. I know people get irritated with my behaviors and actions pero si Demi... he can stand it. Minsan ay pinagsasabihan but it was too often kasi nga hindi na ako nagsasabi ng kung ano-ano kung kanino.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Too bad I'm with him right now," malungkot na sabi ko.

"E, ang talino ng boyfriend mo kaya napunta sa first section. Suwerte pa at morning class sila at tayong nasa fifth section, afternoon shift," ani ni Lucia.

Demetrio is a natural smart kid kaya nasa first section. I can still remember what Lucia said that in our fourth year she should be in the first section if it is not because of our teacher.

"You had fun in Italy this summer?" she asked, diverting the topic.

Alerto itong tumingin sa pinto ng Cafeteria only to see some grade 7 entering. Lucia turned to me and gave me a dagger look.

I just laughed my ass out.

"Oh, is that Demetrio with Maia?" she asked and pointed the other direction.

Hearing his name with Maia made me alert. I scanned the Cafeteria but before I could even finish scanning, Lucia's laugh burst in the Cafeteria. Kaya ganoon na lang kung bumaling ang mga tao sa amin. Some workers motioned for us to stay quiet kaya sinapak ko ang likod ni Lucia dahil hindi ito matigil sa ginagawa.
