Chapter 17

Medyo late na ng gabi kami nakarating ng Siargao. We just decided to stay sa airbnb. Lahat ng expenses namin galing na sa joint account namin. We agreed to put 30% of our allowance per month para patas. Pero minsan nakikita kong nilalakihan nya. Hindi pa natuloy yung franchise nya, sobrang busy kasi. Hindi pa rin daw nya kasi nakakausap sila Gab at Marco if gusto nilang maki-share.

We woke up early the next day. Since maulan we just decided to stay in. He cooked our breakfast, while I made our coffee. Medyo open yung airbnb, kaya kitang-kita yung lakas ng ulan at hangin.

"Aren't you cold?" He asked then hugged me.

"Slight. Ano gagawin natin, lakas ng ulan." I said softly.

"Watch your fave series. I think I'm still sleepy. Four months na 2-4 hours lang yung tulog natin." He uttered.

"Tara na sa kwarto." I said calmly. With one swift he carried me to our room. I opened the TV and played The Big Bang Theory. Josh managed to convince me in watching this series. Okay naman. It was really funny.

"I thought friends?" He asked nung nagstart magplay yung big bang.

"You said, you almost memorized the lines, kasi paulit-ulit. Let's try this." I answered then hugged him.

"I'm not complaining. We can re-watch everything. Just not those scenes that will surely make you cry." He said then kissed my temple.

"One more year, clerk na tayo. We may rarely see each other that time. We may have small fights and misunderstandings. But promise me, no giving up." He whispered. I just looked at him.

"Of course. Let's love each other even when we hate each other. No flirting with co-clerks." I uttered. He just creased his frontalis.

"I only wanna flirt with you. Don't smile with other guys. Tell them we are engage or whatever. Tell me everything. Call me if you need me." He said then smiled.

"I wanna finish medschool already. Feeling ko tumanda ako ng ilang dekada, to think magthird year pa lang tayo." I said randomly.

"We'll get there, baby. Few more years, doctor na tayo parehas. Just hold on. Kaya mo yan. I believe in you." Nakangiting sabi nya. He really knows how to calm my heart. He knows how to hold me so I will stay still. He anchored me. He always makes me believe, na kaya ko. Na kaya namin.

The next days, we tried surfing sa cloud 9. Sobrang pa-pogi nanaman nya. Panay kindat nya sa akin pag hindi sya mahuhulog sa surf board. He also taught me how to surf. We tried different activities. We discovered different restos and bars. We tried eating local foods. We went to different beaches, cave pools, waterfalls and lagoon. We even ride a motorbike in the famous palm tree plantation. He's so spontaneous and fun.

On our last week, we did island hopping. Nagpunta kami sa Daku at Naked Island. Sobrang dami naming pictures. Nung naging kami, every moment, he'll capture it. Kahit sa condo, sobrang random nya. Kahit ata naghuhugas lang ako plato pag nakatrip sya kukuhanan nya akong picture.

After two weeks na stay namin sa Siargao ay dumiretso kami ng Bacolod. Sa bahay nila kami nagstay kasi nasa Alabang yung parents nya. Hindi ko pinaalam sa parents kong nasa Bacolod ako. Kasi malamang papauwiin ako ni daddy doon. Pero ayoko rin yung idea na hindi mapakali si Clark 'pag nasa kwarto ko. Sa bahay kasi sa Alabang madalas naman ako lang yung tao. Laging wala yung parents ko. Kaya siguro bata pa lang ako mas sanay akong si Clark yung kasama ko. He's even there nung nagkaroon ako ng first period ko. Sobrang aligaga nila ni Gino noon. Nasa klase kasi kami nung natagusan ako.
