Chapter 43

The whole month of his stay sa apartment ko, sya lahat ang gumagalaw. He do our laundy, the cooking, the cleaning, the babysitting and he's even in-charge with Clarine's vaccine schedules. Kilala na rin sya sa department namin na asawa ko. And he even met Zian, panay pa yung banggit nya ng misis ko para daw alam ni Zian yung posisyon nya lang sa buhay ko.

"Welcome home, mommy!" Clark greeted me. He's holding Clarine, then used her hand to wave at me. He's wearing an apron, if makikita sya ni Marco malamang nasabihan na naman sya ng Andres or Bonifacio.

"Hi, baby!" I said then kissed my daughter's lips.

"Si daddy walang kiss?" He asked while pouting his lips. I just laughed then kissed him too, but this asshole deepen the kiss seconds after. Tinulak ko sya agad nung parang naiipit na si Clarine.

"What time you went home after her vaccine?" I asked when I am breastfeeding.

"Around 3 pm. We went to your dept, nasa ER ka daw. Toxic kayo, mahal?" He asked sweetly then massaged my shoulder.

"Medyo. We had like 15 admissions with just one shift. Nagluto ka na?" Mahinang tanong ko. He kissed my shoulder first then my neck.

"Kakatapos lang. Gutom kana?" He asked sweetly. He even rested his chin on my shoulder as we both watched Clarine.

"Medyo. Naubos nya ba lahat yung na-pump kong gatas?" Tanong ko. Pero natatawa na sya. Tinignan ko lang sya. Ano na naman kayang kalokohan yung ginawa nya.

"What did you do again, Clarkson?" I asked annoyed.

"We ran out of milk, so I used one bottle for my coffee. Baby, masarap sya." He said laughing. Hinampas ko agad yung balikat nya. Pag talaga kalokohan mabilis sya mag-isip.

"Why didn't you just buy one. Baliw ka talaga. Sometimes I wonder tama bang ikaw pinakasalan ko." I muttered.

"You don't even mean that. Maggrocery pa lang kasi ako bukas. And my formula milk naman sya." He commented. Minsan feeling ko literal na dalawa yung anak ko.

"Off ko bukas, mag-grocery tayo." I said then smiled at him.

"Okay. Can we go out for a date? Nung medschool halos kaharap natin yung transes kahit nasa labas tayo." Malungkot na sabi nya.

"Okay. Let's drop off Clarine first kila Kath. Pero gabi pa yung off ni Kath. Morning mag-ayos tayo dito. Naglaundry kana?" I asked when he stand up to prepare our food.

"Tapos na. I had it done before we went to the hospital." He answered

Nung nakapikit na si Clarine ay nilagay ko lang sya sa kwarto. Tapos lumabas na ako para kumain. Sobrang asikaso nya. Mula sa kanin hanggang sa tubig, sya halos naglalagay. Kulang na lang sya na rin ngumuya para sa 'kin.

"Aren't you tired?" I asked when I saw him stretching his shoulder.

"Not really, why?" He asked then smiled at me.

"I mean you really run the household. Gusto mo ba pabalikin ko na si ate Sally?"  I suggested. He just shook his head.

"Okay lang. Gusto ko kayong masolo. And I am sure you're more tired than I am." He stated.

"Sorry ha, hindi talaga ako makaka-off ng matagal. Bawi ako sa Pinas." I apologetically said.

"I'll hold to that promise. But, baby it's fine. I am actually enjoy doing these things for you and for Clarine. It may sound too cheesy but I feel complete just by being here." He professed. I just stared at him in awe.
