After our first LE we just went to Batangas to chill for just a day. LE week is the hell week of medschool.
Una pa ata akong magiging pasyente kesa maging doctor.
"I'm so tired." I said randomly said when we were just chilling at our airbnb's balcony. Nakahiga kami magkahiwalay sa poolside lounge chair.
"Well, it's tiring. Rest, then we'll continue." Clark answered calmly.
I'm not even sure if may napasa ako. Everything seems hard. Pakasal na lang tayo." I said seriously. He laughed a little and smirked.
"Baby, I'll do the proposing. And stop with that thoughts. Marami pang exam. Isang taon yung mga subject. So, take a deep breath, kaya mo yan. Kaya natin." He said smiling.
"Ang hirap kasi. Bakit sa mga movie parang ang dali. Parang pumikit lang yung character resident na sya." I said then sighed.
"Because that's not real. If it's easy, everyone will be doing it. Focus on the goal. Success is not linear. Every doctor today, had go through the hell of med school." He uttered then he intertwined our fingers.
"Tss. And feeling ko tumanda ako ng isang dekada. Baka along the way magsawa ka sa mukha kong laging puyat at inaatok." Malamyang sabi ko.
"I've known you most of my life, never naman ako nagsawa sa mukha mo. I already saw the preview of your puyat self in pre-med so take a chill baby, you're still the prettiest." He said then chuckled. He kept squeezing my hand.
"Weh, mas maganda kaya si Trish or si Gab or si Yna." I said laughing.
"Really? Maybe I'm blind, all I can see is yours." He answered seriously. I stared at him for seconds.
"You really love me, huh?" I asked smiling.
"Yeah. Crazy, how hard you made me fall. What do you want to eat?" He asked then sat beside me.
"I want roasted chicken." I said then creased my nose. He kissed me briefly then smiled.
"Let's ask the caretaker if saan pwede magpadeliver. I'm expecting you'll say kahit saan. Damn, medschool changed you." He said laughing while shaking his head.
I know he's tired too. I saw every yawn nung nagdridrive sya papunta dito sa Batangas.
"What time tayo uuwi bukas?" I asked yawning.
"After lunch. Are you really tired?" He asked. I just hugged him and nodded.
"Then, sleep. I'm so proud of you." He said sweetly. I looked at him then cried.
"Thank you, baby." I said then buried my face on his neck. I rarely call him baby, para kasing masusuka sa amin si Gino.
"No, thank you, for just simply being with me. I don't mind the rants, the endless crying moments and the silly fights you're doing. Tell me everything. We're still best friends." He said then kissed my temple.
