Last night went pretty good, thankfully not awkward.

Me and Lori are on our way back home.
Finally can just lay in my own damn bed.
"Lori, hun, you ready to see daddy?" I ask her as she fiddles with her stuffed bunny.
She grins and giggles.
I chuckle, "I'll take that as a 'yes'!"

I unlock our front door with Lori at my side, then slowly enter.
Through the stained glass wall, 4 figures stand in the living room.
I pick Lori up then walk towards the door. I pull it open to find: Sam, my brother, Nate, and another dude.
"Oh, I didn't think anyone else would be here." I say.
Sam's face lights up and heads my way, "Jas, babe, I'm glad you're home!" He kisses my lips softly then takes Lori in his arms.
I smile and walk to my brother, he embraces me in a tight hug.
I smile up at him and he gives me a small squeeze.
Nate picks me up and tightly hugs me as I laugh. He sets me down and walks to Lori.
The other guy pipes up, "Its nice to meet you Jasmine, I've heard so many things," His smile is big and he shakes my hand, "I'm Dillon by the way."
I lightly smile, "Nice to meet you, Oh and that's my daughter Lori."
His heads looks to the baby and chuckles, "She's beautiful, how old?"
"Two!"
He nods, "What a cutie!"
I laugh and Sam sets her down.

"Who was that anyways?" I ask Sam about that Dillon guy.
"He helped us with the Felix situation."
"Oh, okay," I say, "Sam imma take a shower."
He nods and heads back down stairs.
