chapter 27

when we get to magnus's he comes rushing to the front door straight away. he take's one look at me covered in dirt and tear marks and then at simon and clary holding up luke and then lets us in.

he grabs my hand and pulls me towards the main room eveyone else following as quickly as they can.

"what happened?" he asks quickly rushing into the main room throwing open the doors.

"he was attacked."simon says as magnus pulsl me over to a counter and lifts me up to sit on it.

"he needs a warlock...."clary says quickly breathing heavily.

magnus look at me and the tears in my eyes.

"he needs you." i mutter looking at him making him nod quicly before he turns around and grabs a sheet laying it over a sofa.

"put him here,"maganus says making simon and clary slowly lay luke on the chair as he grunts.

"luke...."clary asks looking at him as he grunts and squeezes his eyes shut.

i sit on the conuter magnus sat me on not moving watching everyone.

"I can't find you.Where are... where are you? Where are you?Jocelyn!" luke groans over and over as if he's havinga  nightmare,

 i whimper watching it all making magnus's eyes lock onto mine before he quickly looks back at luke.

i watch as luke grabs clary speaks to her before he looks up and growls.

magnus leaves them as luke grunts and groans as simon and clary try to hold him down.

"Where do you think you're going?"calry shouts watching magnus leave and come back with two things in his ahnds.

"Hold him down.We don't have a lot of time."magnus speaks as lukes grunts before worse and worse.

magnus shoves something into lukes mouth before making him bite down on it.

i watch the whole time my eyes wide and worried.

"It'll take a few moments to take effect."magnus tell them as everyone lets go of luke.

" What's happening to him?"clary asks quickly watching luke struggle.

"Random werewolf transformation. It's a side effect of the poison in the alpha bite." magnus explains as luke slowly stops moving and groans before he passes out.

magnus gets up and comes straight over to me picking me up and sitting me on his hip looking at my sister and simon,.

"im taking her to get cleaned up." he says before he turns and leaves with me on his hip.

after he shows me his shower and a pair of clean clothes. some light grey jeans and a white long sleave top that fit me very well he  helps me put on alec's jacket that he wiped down before he looks at me as fresh tears rush down my face.

he wipes them away looking at me sadly.

"its alright darling.....you have nothing to worriy about....nothing shall ever harm you."he says beforre he picks me up and walks back into the main room sitting me down on a sofa near luke and everyone.

"you okay?"clary asks looking at me in clean clothes with slightly damp hair. i nod and slip my thumb into my mouth laying back against the chair feeling very tired.

"The bark will stop the transformation for now, but Luke needs an antidote to stop the poison in his system. And I don't have all the ingredients here." magnus says looking at clary.
