alec walks with me into the large garden that this institue has.

he sighs sitting down on a bench with me on his lap.

i push myself as close to him as possible. hugging. holding onto him.

"gracie come on"alec mutters rubbing my back making me whine."please" he whispers slowly pulling me away from him.

i look down not bothering to make ay type of eye contact,

i feel horrible that i had to regress right now.

"hey hey" he says tilting my head up to look at him. he watches at my eyes fill with tears.

"im sowry"i mutter, im only looking at him due to the fact that he is holding my face lightly.

"its okay baby" he says shaking his head smiling sadly at me pulling me in for a hug as i cry" i knew you needed to be little" he speaks rubbing my back calming my cries.

"feel bad" i mutter rubbing my eyes as he pulls me to sit forwards and look at him.

"hey" he says seriously making me look up"never and i mean never feel bad about regressing." he says straing into my eyes"okay?" he asks earning a small nod from me.

i bite the inside of my lip looking away from him.

its been a while since ive been little...

"ive missed my little girl you know" he speaks shifting me to sit sideways on his lap making me blush and hide my face from him"ah dont hide from me" he says chuckiling pulling my hands away from my face.

i lean against his chest putting my thumb into my mouth sighing looking around the large garden.

"lets go see magnus" he says suddenly standing up sitting me on his hip.

"magnus?" i ask slurring slightly with my thumb in my mouth,

alec chuckles and pulls it out wiping it on my black jeans.

"yeah" he replies kissing my head before leaving the gardens.

we walk out the doors of the institue and down the stairs and almost get away before someone calls out his name.

"alec!"they call making him turn and look seeing his mom walking towards us.

i whimper in his arms hiding my face making him rub my head.

"its okay" he mutters pulling my hoodie up on my jacket letting me snuggle into his shoulder.

"Where are you going? " she asks looking at him and me frowning.

"Magnus'." he says shifting me on his hip."I couldn't just sit in there and not do anything. He'll help me find my brother." he says making me slip my thub back into my mouth hiding it with my sleave.

"Jace is not your brother. He's not your blood."maryse speaks shaking her head.

 "He's closer than blood. He's my parabatai."alec tells her scoffing.

"Alec, we looked like fools taking in Valentine's son, caring for him like our own and now your babying one of his daughters...It was the right thing to do."she explains to him me quietly whimper at the mention of me."It was a mistake. It puts our family in danger."she speaks sighing looking at him. (SIGHS) You need to forget Jace and her too.He made his choice." she speaks making alec shake his head.

"Do you even hear what you're saying? If you kill him, you kill a part of me.and gracie shes done nothing but be there for me"alec tells his mother seriously.
